how do you deal with being “wrong” headcanon-wise?? like I know headcanons are headcanons and it’s especially true when there’s little canon content to build off on & a wide range of possible interpretations but I feel like beating myself up for being “wrong” for some reason/disagreeing with other people about headcanons 🥲 and I know I shouldn’t but I recently (kind of) got into this other fandom that doesn’t have a lot of canon content/requires you to make up hcs to fill in the obvious gaps in the lore/characterization and it’s kind of killing me inside. I know they’re subjective and there’s no “wrong answer” especially with such little info to back up from canon but

just came to a realization….Stefan in the musical is a genderbent Rose from the film…….his solo in the musical is called STEFAN’S TURN

the title of which is obviously a reference to Rose’s Turn 😭😭😭 how did I not realize this sooner

consider this: Madhel superhero AU where Madeline and Helen are either mortal enemies (typical superhero vs supervillain) or two heroes who detest each other so much they may as well be enemies but because they’re both heroes they have to work together (reluctantly). Madeline’s superpower is ultra flexibility and super strength while Helen’s is being able to shoot lasers from her hands and eyes that can pierce anything. idk I would have to work out more of the specifics but it would be an enemies to lovers fic (of course)!

There's something about madeline and helen being together forever, beyond death or reason, because they have to, because there's no other option, because they will quite literally fall apart if they don't stay with each other. There's something about how they spent decades of their lives obsessing over each other from a distance, making themselves horribly unhappy just to spite each other, and then being bound for eternity because of that spite and jealousy. There's something about them having to take care of each other no matter how angry they are no matter if they've fought or they're the reason the other needs repairs. I just love when characters are so consumed with hating one another that they end up inescapably chained at the ankle.
