Okay I watched Disguised Toast’s video on C'Thun buffs and apparently the buff goes to the player, not the actual C'Thun. So it really is like “Gain attack and health equal to the buffs the player got” or something like that. So if you entomb a C'Thun that’s at like 15/15 and you play it it will only be a 6/6

Going to a tournament soon!

On May 12th I will be entering my first Hearthstone tournament. It’s just a local tournament, nothing big. I’m also going to shoutcast it along with another guy who’s much more experienced with shoutcasting, so that will be interesting. It’s standard format so I plan to bring Dragon Priest, C'Thun Druid and Zoolock. Unfortunately my C'Thun Druid isn’t ready yet, I’m missing a lot of cards that will make it good, like Twin Emperor Veklor, Disciple of C'Thun and Klaaxi Amberweaver. But I’m confident that I’ll have enough dust to craft what I need if I don’t pull them in packs

Card Review #1: Faceless Summoner

This new Mage card is a 6 mana 5/5 with Battlecry: Summon a random 3 cost minion. The effect is very good, giving you a lot of stats for only 6 mana. Even the worst options give you at least 7/7 total stats, because no 3 cost minion has stats worse than 2/2, but most of the time you’ll get a 3/3 minion, so you’ll get 8/8 stats across 2 bodies, so you cant get BGH’d or other hard removal. The best minions you can get are Injured Blademaster, King Mukla, Felguard, Imp Gang Boss. the Wonder Twins (Eydis and Fjola Lightbane) Fierce Monkey and Mounted Raptor. Other good cards are Harvest Golem, Flamewaker and Arcane Golem. Because this card is a common, it’s going to see a lot of play in Arena, where you can also get cards like Dark Cultist, Deathlord, and Shade of Naxxramas. Overall I think this card is a great addition to Mage, in Constructed and Arena. I can see this being used in Tempo Mage, Value Mage, Yogg Mage and other types of Mage. It gets a 9/10!
