[Chihiro figured that the other meant well. Besides, he needed all the help he could get to break out of his shell.]

Fionna pushed her cheeks together, squishing up her face. "Man, you are just like, totes adorable, you know that?" She giggled and reached for Chihiro's arm. "That's the spirit!"

The adventuress actually had no idea what she was going to do to get Chihiro out of her shell. Maybe they could go to the park or something and talk to random people? Or maybe they could go shopping?! Fionna had absolutely no plan, but maybe opportunities will pop up as they walk through the city. Fionna sighed and looked over to Chihiro. "So! Maybe to help you, you should tell me a bit about yourself! We'll take turns, first you then me!"

Severed Chains - Intro/Open

Why was he breathing? Why wasn’t he dead? 

Question after question ran through his head. The last thing he remembered was being defeated by the moronic blond from which he came. The χ-blade had been destroyed. So why was he here? Why wasn’t that golden light and warmth still present? Why the hell was he made to suffer the displeasure of living yet again?!

Amber eyes shot open as a screen switched on. Great, an idiot was already speaking to him. Vanitas pushed himself up from where he lay and listened. However, he soon grew annoyed and allowed his helmet to dissolve. He soon regretted the action as the smell of cleaning chemicals assaulted his nose. It was sickening. In that moment, negativity sparked, but no Unversed rose from it. He blinked, confusion spreading across his face. Where were they? Why did they not come? 

The black-haired youth quickly made his way from that disgustingly clean room. He hadn’t honestly cared about what the man on the screen was blabbering about. He’d already been a part of an experiment of sorts and he really wasn’t interested in being part of another one and with the Unversed seemingly gone..

“What a hassle.”

Once outside the enigma breathed a little deeper as he took in the sights. It reminded him of Radiant Garden in a way, how annoying. However, it was then that he felt a strange pull. “So.. You’re here somewhere are you?” It made sense. If that dumbass was here, then Vanitas would get dragged along for the ride. Stupid goddamn idiot couldn’t look after himself. How useless. Though, if he was here he might as well find him. Maybe he’d have the answers he needed. But to find him.. That’s what needed to be done first and foremost. So Vanitas took the most ‘logical’ approach. He went looking. Screw asking other people. They’d just get in his way. However he did shove a few people out of his way for the fun of it. “Move loser!”

Fionna was making her way around town, trying to remember exactly where all her favorite hang-outs where. She heard some people mumbling and yelling about how some person was being really rude, but she paid no mind. Usually she would love to step in and be the hero, but most of the people around here were pretty dangerous and the adventuress really didn't want to be hurt her first few days here.

The adventuress continued on her way and quickly noticed that "really rude person" was making their way over to her. Before she could react the stranger collided with her.

“Move loser!”

Oh that's it, this guy is going down!

The blonde chased after the stranger. "Hey, you! Come back here! What's the big idea?! You think you're so cool and tough that you can just run into people like that?!"

So far, Wocky had run into a great number of his old friends, and due to that, he was nothing but smiles. Rather than stay locked up in his apartment, he’d decided to take to walking around the sectors, trying to see if anyone else he knew was here. Sure, it was kinda horrible that they’d all been pulled back into this place, but it really wasn’t all that bad!

As he made his way out of his apartment, he heard a somewhat familiar voice up ahead, and curiously walked forward to find the source. It took him a couple of minutes, but once he realized who exactly it was lying on the ground before him, he couldn’t help but smile.

He remembered baking cookies with this girl once, and though she was nice, she wasn’t the best in the kitchen.

“Oi, c’mon shawty.”

“It ain’t all that bad.”

Fionna fell forward onto the ground and lay flat on her face. A loud muffled groan could be heard from the girl. This sucks. Like it seriously sucks. She would much rather like being anywhere and she wasn't even sure if anyone she knew was around. Then a familiar voice rang through the air.

“Oi, c’mon shawty.”

Her head snapped up to see a familiar lame hairdo and a smile spread on her face. She jumped up and brushed herself off.

"H-hey, it's...you!" His name escaped her but she knew him alright. She remembered baking with him last time they were in Citta together. Fionna smiled sheepishly. "Heh, yeah! It's better now that I've met someone I know!"

[It’s true; Chihiro was too shy. Probably for his own good sometimes. The bullying he endured as a child made him hesitant, and anxious when talking to new people. But Fionna seemed kind enough; she seemed strong, but kind.]

"T-there's nothing to be sorry about!" Fionna was getting flustered. Sure you could be sorry, but not this sorry! Chihiro was going to need some help getting over this shyness and Fionna was just the one to do it! Or so she believed. This poor girl was in for it now. The adventuress' mind was set, like it or not, she was going to help.

The blonde placed a hand on her hip and called upon her inner Cake. "Honey, we gotta work on this shyness! It stinks living life being all shy and scared when you could be out and about making friends and having adventures!"

A city fit for a king (Open)

Alistair stared at the strange girl in blue, her cap was very reminiscent of bunny ears and her golden locks flowed out of it. He hadn’t met many lasses with hair that radiant. He smiled and wondered just exactly was she from. Orlais most likely. 

“Ashes of Andraste…you know she heard some voices thought she was the bride of the maker and lead a march against the imperium? Few dead elves later and a burned body you got ashes that if ingested will cure just about anything! Yup eating the body of a few thousand year old woman will do that to a person…” 

He laughed sarcastically and matched her pose, his hand on his hips. He crossed his arms over his chest and bowed as she introduced herself. 

“Pleasure to meet you Ser Fionna. It’s always nice to see more woman weilding swords and saving the rumps of people like me. I actually just became king before that I was and most likely still am a grey warden. So I probably won’t need your assistance…much. Oh right my name is Alistair by the way.”

Nope. She was so lost. This guy was going on about some maker and his wife?? Fionna's eyes glazed over slightly. "Andraste? Dude, that's a crazy name. Also who is this 'maker'? Is he like Glob?!" Then her face twisted into one of disgust. "Whoa, why would you want to eat ashes?! That's whack."

The adventuress huffed as he copied her pose. A small smile crept across her face. Yeah, she was going to like this guy.

"Hey, hey, yeah gurl power. I mean the princes in Aaa aren't like, totally dependent on me, but y'know the Ice Queen is always stealing one or two and trying to get them to marry her." She shook her head. "But hey! I've got your back while you're here, man!" Fionna bowed mockingly. "The pleasure is all mine, King Alistair." She laughed and suddenly a light went off in her head. "Oh! I have a buddy who calls himself the Vampire King. Maybe you two can discuss kingly things and fluff!"

[A small squeak escaped Chihiro’s lips as the wooden sword was aimed at him. Even as she put it away, he trembled a bit.

Dude? Did that mean Fionna could tell Chihiro was cross dressing? Maybe he wasn’t doing a good enough job of seeming “female”…oh, gosh dang gender norms.]

I-I’m…really sorry.

[Back? Does that mean she left before? This girl was rather..interesting, to say the least.]

[He began to lean into a bow when he noticed the girl’s hand. He gave it a shy shake.]

"H-hey! There's nothing to be sorry about! It was my fault, y'know..!" Fionna shifted awkwardly. She wasn't really used to shy people, being pretty outgoing herself.

"Chihiro, huh? Neat name!" The adventuress shook Chihiro's hand frowning slightly as to how sky and weak it was. She laughed put a hand to her cheek. "Aw c'mon man! Don't be so shy! I don't bite! I swear!"

It’s a metropolis. A sight Marshall Lee hasn’t been graced with since childhood—it startled him, and he feels vaguely overwhelmed and even nostalgic as he drifts through the city, feet not touching the ground.  But he doesn’t get excited. Apparently he’s a lab rat. What a joke. A terrible joke that irritates him to no end—he has obligations, thank you, even if he frequently puts them off. They didn’t even let him keep his axebass. He’s stuck with this shitty wooden axe. They could have at least given him a bloody guitar. Even a banjo or a ukulele would have been enough. This is going to be one tedious…trip.

Fionna pushed her way through a crowd of citizens, smiling and nodding apologetically at each who turned to see who was being so rude. She really was sorry but she wanted to get back to her apartment and put all the food she just bought away.

Finally she makes her way into a nearly empty part of the city, with a few people roaming here and there. But then she sees it. That familiar shape of a certain vampire floating around on his back. Fionna walked faster, then quickly broke into a slight jog the food in her backpack clanking along.

"Oh my Glob, oh my Glob! Marshall Lee, is that you?!

A city fit for a king (Open)

It’s been days since he arrived in this Hive City and yet things were still so different. The buildings were made of steel and glass and glistened in the sunlight. The streets were stone and the air smelled……clean. He will miss the smell of dog though but for he knows this will be his new home for now.

“Oh Maker this will be difficult.”

He rolled his shoulders back and felt the wooden weapons strapped to his back. Why would they give him wooden weapons? He wasn’t a child in Redcliff anymore. He’s not a Chevalier in Orlais or a seafaring pirate but a king! He had changed his armor for the more supposed common finery that the men in white gave him. Just what exactly were they though, mage or something else?

“I wonder if there is anybody here that can tell me what exactly this place is.” Eyes wander as he looked at the citizens walking all over the place. Many of them had hair and eyes that could make the most tropical of birds jealous but the question is how many of them would even talk to him.

“Excuse me but are you interested in the ashes of the bride of our lord? I fought tooth and nail to find it and it can all be yours for only 16 sovereign. No? How about telling this King more about this place ”

Fionna skipped her way around the people trying to make her way to her apartment. They were all wandering around aimlessly and it was kinda funny to the young girl. She tugged at her backpack straps as she swiftly and somewhat gracefully dodged the other citizens. They were an interesting sight for sure. She laughed to herself but stopped abruptly as a voice hit her ears.

“Excuse me but are you interested in the ashes of the bride of our lord? I fought tooth and nail to find it and it can all be yours for only 16 sovereign. No? How about telling this King more about this place ”

She turned around and and gave him an odd look. Fionna put a hand on her hip and cocked her head to one side. "Ashes of our what?!"

"Uh, okay, I don't really know what a sovereign is but--wait, did you say King?!" Fionna stepped back, her jaw dropping. "Oh my Glob that's so cool! I've never met an actual king before! Just a bunch of princes! And I'm pretty sure I've saved them all like, a few times now.... But wow! You're so cool!"

This city was a new site to take in. In some ways, it was no different then New York. Then again, it was 1935 where he was from. Some things seem to have been modified to this generation (okay a lot has changed) and seeing these things seem to unsettle Jacuzzi. The new sites and sounds were all too foreign to him. Then again, it’s pleasant that having someone set off some bombs unexpectedly. Or having guns fired at them. He would rather have this for now.

As Jacuzzi reminisce on the thoughts of seeing everything new around him, he couldn’t help but overhear someone who seem to be speaking to herself. His head turning into the direction of the voice, he made his way quietly towards the voice. “U-Uhh…” He began for a moment, trying to think of the right words to comfort the other. “H-Hey, you don’t have to be like this. I mean, things will turn out alright soon enough. Maybe you’ll find a way out to this Ice Queen person i-in no time.” Jacuzzi was only trying to help, despite not knowing who was a friend or foe to the girl.

Fionna swayed while sitting on the ground, groaning incoherently about nothing. A soft voice caused her to whip her head around, sending blonde strands of hair all over. She stood up slowly as the stranger came closer. The adventuress brushed off her skirt and placed her hands on her hips.

Was she hearing this guy right? Fionna giggled. "Psh, I'm just bummed I'm back in this place, is all..! Being here once was more than enough! This place is the fluffing pits!" She brushed some hair out of her face and smirked. "By the way, the Ice Queen isn't really someone you wanna hang with, dude. She's a huge dork. Stealing all the princes and trying to make them marry her, talk about being totes ba-nay-nays!"

The adventuress' smirk turned into a wide smile. "Aw, c'mon man, don't be so shy, I don't bite!" She laughed and winked while extending a hand, "I'm Fionna!"

[Chihiro was restless in his new enviroment, feeling a little braver to roam than he did at hope’s peak academy. It was rather nice to not worry about one of your classmates literally stabbing you in the back.

That was when he noticed the distressed young girl. He freezes in his tracks for a moment, hesitant to talk to her. Maybe she wanted to be left alone.

Still, it couldn’t hurt to offer a little support would it?

He slowly walked over to her, leaning down slightly to make eye level.]

Um…Are you alright?

Fionna opened her eyes, jumped to her feet and pulled out her wooden sword. Her intense face quickly mellowing once she realized there wasn't a threat. She put her sword away and smiled, clearly embarrassed. Fionna tugged at the bunny ears on her hat.

"Eheh, sorry about that, dude. Kinda surprised me..." Fionna let go of her ears and brushed her skirt off and reset her backpack. "Oh, and uh, yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit upset I'm back in this lame place, y'know?" The adventuress shook her head and smiled. "Oh, by the way, I'm Fionna!" She politely stuck out her hand for the other to shake, just like Cake taught her.

Not this fluffing place again. This is the second time Fionna has been plopped into this stupid city. She didn't much like the first time she was a part of this nasty experiment and she sure as heck isn't going to like it a second time!

Fionna kicked at the ground as she made her way over to her apartment, partially remembering the last time she was here. Last time a few of her friends even showed up, but by the looks of things, she was alone this time...for now. She hated wishing this place on her friends but she missed them already, and she had hardly been here for a day.

"Ugh!" The adventuress reached up to the sky, "why can't I be taken somewhere nice for once?!" Fionna then plopped down on the ground and tugged at her bunny ears. "I'd rather be hangin' with the Ice Queen than be here...AGAIN."
