Myriad disappointments (in both rounds) aside, let's talk about how completely overhyped the japan vote for Marie was because dang, wasn't everyone sure she was taking the first DLC slot for free because of it??

Secret scenes from Street Fighter Alpha 3’s attract mode (2/2)

Stepping through the amazingly put together SFA3’s intro again (that I was obviously hugely inspired by), I just noticed that there were these character scenes before each of the character montages. Each scene lasts for exactly one frame and would be impossible to notice normally.

In the scene, each character is placed together with another character that he/she has a relationship with (except for Vega, unless he really hates Birdie?) and the shot is laid out in a way that tells a story. The creator even tries to put as many background sprites as possible to establish the scene, despite the technical limitations that are in place from running the rest of the intro.

It’s amazing that the creator of this intro put that extra bit of work to add this detail that no one would ever notice. This is true craftsmanship.
