Important information.

Mun is an adult (22), she/her.

Triggers are abundant on this blog. AfO canonically abuses, grooms, and manipulates on top of various other criminal endeavors. I’m not interested in writing in-depth scenes of abuse, but I won’t censor my muse. Some triggers will be tagged (like blood or murder) while others won’t be due to how deeply they are ingrained in AfO’s character (like grooming, manipulation). Please proceed with caution and unfollow if you deem it necessary!

This blog is 18+ due to its content. Minors who follow me will be hard-blocked.

On that note, I don’t condone any of AfO’s actions. He is despicable, and I don’t share his views. I am merely interested in his role in the story.

If you don’t like angst or receiving it without warning, I advise you to keep your distance from this blog or to plot with me prior to interactions. I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable or feel as though I force them into a certain genre.

My activity on this blog will fluctuate. This muse can be difficult for me for personal reasons, but I still want to try my hand at writing him. Please don’t pressure me to be active or to reply quickly.

AfO is powerful. He will pull things that could be viewed as godmodding as a result. Please know you can always approach me should you be uncomfortable with something my muse (or I) did.

If your muse antagonizes him, he will react appropriately. I usually ask in advance if you are okay with my muse killing or severely injuring yours, but I (again) will not censor him. If you push him too far, there will be consequences for your muse. If this point becomes relevant repeatedly, there is a chance I may unfollow.

With regard to Tomura muses, I’m very selective due to the fact that he is my main muse (@decayman) and I can get duplicate anxiety. If I choose not to follow back or to unfollow, please know it has nothing to do with you. It’s 100% on me.

I highly doubt ships will occur, but if they do, they will most definitely be toxic. AfO is a narcissist and loves himself more than anyone else. I will under no circumstances ship with Tomura muses. Don’t ask me for this ship.

There will be no smut or suggestive themes involving minors or aged up muses. I don’t interact with people who post such content either.

I want no part in drama, and I don’t want to see it on my dash. I will regulate my following in such ways that this is guaranteed.

If you repeatedly ask for a starter but don’t ever reply despite being active, you won’t receive any more starters from me. You’re always welcome to let me know if you’d like something changed or would like to plot before writing, but I won’t have a desire to write together if my effort and time are taken for granted.

Please work with me if you approach me for plotting. I get anxious easily in social situations and will assume you lost interested in me and/or my muse if I’m the only one trying to further a conversation.

Please don’t compare my portrayal to that of other people. Even comparisons made in jest will affect me negatively, and I will soft-block if it happens repeatedly.

Regarding fan theories.

I’m aware of the dad for one theory, but I do not default to it on this blog. I have a verse for it that people are welcome to request if there is interest.

I’m rather fond of the theory that AfO gave Tomura his decay quirk. This of course isn’t a must, and I won’t default to it in interaction with Tomura muses unless we discussed it beforehand. I may allude to it to other muses, however.

Clawed hands were shoved into the nomu’s pockets, head tilted downward and multicoloured eyes staring at his feet. Long golden locks were like a veil covering his face, a hand moving to scratch the metallic implants in his neck. He had been remembering more, lately—did the master know? What would happen if he did know? The more Himei remembered, the more he was able to think and have morals. The more he would be useless to the League of Villains—especially if he decided to protect the enemy because he was slowly remembering who he was.

Eyes flickered up as he raised his gaze to look at the man before him, brow raising slowly, voice raspy and hoarse.

“...You called?”

Time moves both awfully fast and awfully slowly for someone as ancient as him. He has collected many pawns and watched them lose their usefulness over the years. Some of them, he used to cherish more deeply than others, and yet he learned to move past their departure and begin his quest anew. How much longer until Himei’s chapter will come to an end, he wonders? If the doctor’s suspicions prove their merit, the Nomu may already be nearing the closing act of its fleeting existence.

When the creature in question finally comes before him, Shigaraki greets it with a cold, distant smile. “I did. There are some matters I’d like to question you about. But, first, how have you been? Are you satisfied with your body and its condition?” A selection of quirks is humming beneath Shigaraki’s skin. If Himei wishes to deceive him, Shigaraki will know.

    That’s the crux of it though: Tenshi would much prefer solitude to his brother’s presence for the rest of his life…however long that will be. ‘Too long.’ He thinks bitterly, curling up tighter on the cot that makes up his bed in this vault.

    “Just go away…please…” Kosei’s love is like a choking plant; latching onto the host and squeezing until the target is completely suffocated and drained dry. What a terrible thing his attention is.

His brother is adorable like this, so small and vulnerable in the throes of his emotions. Shigaraki knows well that his presence is the last thing Tenshi wishes for, but how could he possibly stay away? They are family, after all. And besides, shouldn’t his own wants be taken into consideration as well?

“Worry not, dear brother. My being here doesn’t bother me at all. In fact, it brings me great pleasure. In time, I’m sure you will feel the same.” And even if he won’t, he will just have to bear it. For him.

         A sly, crooked smirk play across scarred lips, and suddenly Loke seemed to have remembered what the meaning of manners entailed. He bowed ever so slightly, floating, flame-like hair licked the air and flicked like candlelights from the motion. This guy was a good sport! Most tend to get irritated the moment the Roarer even took so much as a single breath.         “ Just curious, you see. You’ve been up to a lot of troublesome things, so I really couldn’t stay away~ ”  He rose to a straight position, almost expecting to tower above the man, but found hismelf matching in height. Huh, interesting. That’s extremely rare!

       “ Im a bit of a wanderer, really.            Ambigious and mysterious has a more intruiging air,            don’t you think? Let’s just say from a north. ”

“I suppose there is an allure to intrigue,” Shigaraki agrees. He has made use of it many times to manipulate friends and foes alike, so his affirmation appears to be a logical conclusion. The stranger too must have made use of it on several occasions.

Regardless, Shigaraki finds it an easy task to trace Loke’s name back to the Scandinavian region, having acquired many languages in his long life. In fact, he believes to have encountered the name before, not in quirk registries or in the hushed whispers of his trusted informants but in books covering the region’s mythology. Whether or not the name given to Shigaraki is a pseudonym, the stranger managed to catch Shigaraki’s attention. He too appears to have fallen victim to the aforementioned allure. “I clearly can’t compete in that department. You seem rather familiar with me and my conquests.”

“ You’re that, er… Norns, hang on I gotta think. Too many names to remember sometimes. Hm, Ah! All For One guy, yeah? You’re amusing, so I figured I’d hang out a little. Name’s Loke Laufeyjarson, but hey call me whatever you feel like. Greetings, nice to meet you and all that. ”

How mysterious. Shigaraki hasn’t been expecting visitors, and certainly not of the powerful kind. More than one of his analysis quirks are screaming at him in alarm, making goosebumps appear on his arms. “Ah, welcome. If my company is all you want, I’m willing to give it.” He regards his visitor with a dim smile. “Where do you hail from, Loke Laufeyjarson?”

Shigaraki leans into his hand, regarding the stranger before him curiously. “I see a world better than it is now, rid of its heroes and their mindless supporters. Villains of all walks of life being united in their purpose. Me, standing on top of them all, reaping the benefits of my work.” He grins. “And One for All of course being safely returned to me, where forever it will stay.”

“I don’t see why I would. I’m rather pleased with what I’ve accomplished thus far.” Shigaraki smiles at the stranger, his tone humorous. “The notion of forgetting seems wasteful, especially after I’ve taken such great care to acquire the knowledge I did.” Hundreds of years he spent collecting information, quirks, and connections. His network expands all over Japan and even reaches as far as America. Besides, he’s closer than ever to achieving his long-held goal. Tomura is almost ripe for the taking. “You are a curious one to be asking such foolish questions.”

Shigaraki smiles gleefully. “My dear brother, you won’t ever be alone.” He touches his hand to his chest, teeth bared as his lips part once more. “I am here for you, now and always.” And that is a promise.

    “If you mean to hurt me in some vain attempt to get at my husband I’m afraid I’ll have to disappoint. You won’t do anything to phase him.” The Winter maiden’s glare turned as cold as the room around her, the chill becoming more and more obvious. “I said to leave…I will not ask again.”

Her attempt at intimidation forces a chuckle from him. Simply possessing a powerful quirk isn’t nearly enough to pursuade him out of chasing after what he wants. “Whoever said anything about hurting you? No, Endeavor is rather useful as he is, believe it or not.” His own quirks are buzzing beneath his skin, eager to be used. Shigaraki reaches out for a heat emitter quirk and promptly raises the temperature of the room. “You, to me, are much more interesting than your husband, Mrs. Todoroki.”

  “A reasonable reaction when encountering a demon.” Came the snowy haired woman retort once she settled the fear in her chest.

“Begone from this place…I have no business with you.”

“You seem awfully quick to reach this conclusion. Who was it that spoke of me in such flattering tones?” Shigaraki is equal parts impressed and amused by her boldness. Still, he makes no move to leave. “I’m afraid I can’t depart until I’ve accomplished what I came here to do.”

VERSE. / MIDORIYA HISASHI

Midoriya Hisashi is one of the many pseudonyms tied to Shigaraki Kosei. The man behind the name is meant to be an unassuming, upstanding citizen dedicated to his work and eager to provide for his family; a fail-safe that Shigaraki can fall back on in case he needs to sever the connection to his villain-persona All for One.

Naturally, circumstances changed after he almost died to Toshinori. Shigaraki’s appearance and physical capabilities have been altered permanently and continue to decline. He can no longer show his face without risk of his cover being blown. Thus, he uses work as an excuse while still holding onto the identity itself. One day, it might prove useful still for one reason for another. 

He harbors no feelings of love for Inko nor their child. They are a means to an end, a front to hide behind should the need arise. He chose Inko because she was easy to manipulate and was plain in everything she was and did. It admittedly helped that she was easy on the eye, though this was no primary concern. In short: She was everything she needed to be.

In order to assure Izuku would not awaken a quirk similar to his own, Shigaraki took Izuku’s quirk early on and had Ujiko show faked medical documents to Inko and Izuku during their examinations in the hospital. Shigaraki still has the quirk to this day, intending to use it for his own purposes. (This quirk by default being the ‘cloned’ version of AfO that Shigaraki transfers to his successor, Tomura.)

Izuku’s connection to Toshinori is nothing if not an opportunity that Shigaraki will exploit to the fullest. And, eventually, he will face his child to regain the quirk he has been chasing after for hundreds of years, One for All.
