I know a lot of people are upset about Zach’s actions and the majority of observers assume everyone who’s upset is mourning Zankie, but to be honest, what bothered me in the snaps was that I felt there were heavily misogynistic undertones. It reminded me so much of Logan’s snaps. It just felt disrespectful. Not the first two (the lap picture or the tongue picture) but the snaps where you could hear the way he talks to her. It’s not how you talk to a woman you respect. Remember in the house when he brought Frankie sandwiches and water and paper towels? To this girl, he is sorta barking orders and talking to her in a way that I wouldn’t want to be talked to. The funny thing is, he’s probably sweet when he’s not on camera - gentler and more considerate. I don’t know why he feels the need to play up this macho, player, chauvinist character.
It’s like when he talks to his parents sometimes with utter disrespect and you go, “Why do they let him get away with it?” Cause he apologizes later I’m sure like in BB when he was evicted & wouldn’t hug anyone, but we later found out he had hugged them all earlier and informed them he was going to put on a show.
I imagine maybe this is what he does with the girl as well. Just strange that he chooses to troll or play up the asshole when we’re not watching Big Brother anymore. It’s real life now. Not a soap opera or a tv show. This is the image he wants. This is the way he wants to be perceived and that makes me sad.
I should have known anyone who idolizes Jordan Belfort and aspires to attain that level of Machiavellian greed… The ability to manipulate, use, cheat and deceive people for financial gain. It is suspicious. It does seem like a red flag considering the fact that he says he can’t get a girlfriend, JUST said he did not have a girlfriend, would put a ring on it about Frankie, etc.
I think Frankie forgives a lot of Zach’s behavior because he loves him as a person and I think they have a genuine connection and friendship. They aren’t dating and Zach has every right to date someone and of course I’m sure Frankie respects that and may have known Zach was going with a girl. But the tone of a couple of the snaps were disrespectful towards the girl (not IMO to Frankie.) As I said I don’t think they’re dating and even if Frankie knew he was bringing a girl, that doesn’t mean he would know how Zach would snap once there.
I don’t understand why Zach lies so much. It’s a bit like a compulsive liar. If he is dating, he should just say it. It’s not a problem! Some say “He wants privacy! He wants to keep relationship stuff private!” he said if he told us about his romantic life, he would have nothing to himself. Then why these snaps? Then why do this? It doesn’t make sense. He has so recently been in deny, deny, deny mode then sends suggestive snaps which would be fine if he just said yes I’m dating as we would expect it, but seem so effing strange after the countless comments he makes on YouNow. It’s inconsistent. It’s like a mindfuck. And I’m not sure why he seems to get off on that.
If he wanted privacy, he wouldn’t snap the girl running fingers through his hair and licking her lips, the messy bed, etc. If he didn’t want everyone talking he would actually keep it private. On the other hand, if he was tired of hiding it, he could just come out and say he’s going on vacation with a girl or dating and be real, be honest. Doesn’t mean he has to give everything away like her name or pics of her face, but just honesty about the situation in general.
The way he has handled it, whether it’s real or just intentional trolling, leads me to believe that he wants a reaction. Things just don’t add up. He creates drama when it isn’t necessary. The fans are good people and aren’t so shallow that if he started being honest about the girl, they would abandon him. If he was real and honest, I guarantee 95% of fans would stand by him. Fans get upset because it seems he wants to upset them, to confuse them and because they feel he has misled them and they don’t understand why. Because we don’t know what’s happening, there is a fear that we’ve been manipulated for bars and tips. That wouldn’t be the case if he was real with us. If he was straight up, these snaps wouldn’t come as a shock and/or wouldn’t confuse us.
It’s not about Zankie for a lot of people. It’s about Zach. Is he as misogynistic as Logan? Is he intentionally misleading fans for money? IF and only IF he is misleading on purpose, it’s not smart to cause this kind of chaos. It would be smarter to avoid suggestive snaps with the girl. And he is smart enough to know they will garner a reaction. We all know this. The whole no fucks given thing is a dead giveaway.
Jordan Belfort he is not. Just like in BB, he is self-sabotaging. Self-imploding and he is self-aware. He isn’t stupid. He knows what he’s doing. I’m just not sure he knows WHY he’s doing it.
