It's completely okay that it took you a while to answer my ask! I can't imagine juggling BOTH writing and answering asks while also trying to figure out how to squeeze in that one Scarabia student— ACHOO MC ACHOO😇😇 But genuinely, I really appreciate that you always take the time to read and reply to my asks. I can't thank you enough for putting up with me and all my long-winded rants!🤤🤤

But.... oh my gosh. I can't stop fangirling over the fact that MC accidentally gave Silver a love letter. Who knows what they've just set into motion? And to make things even better, Yuu practically looks identical to the Jade Leech. If I'm guessing correctly, Yuu is probably gonna be absolutely horrified when they find out MC accidentally gave the love letter to Silver. Still, I'm sure they'll eventually realize it was all just an innocent mistake.😇😇

One question keeps replaying and nagging at my mind: Who is the love letter exactly meant for? And who was bold enough to send it in the first place? If I had to make a guess, I'd say the letter was probably intendrd for Yuu, since they're the lead. Out of everyone, Yuu seems the mostly likely person to recieve a love letter. That said, I could be completely wrong. The letter could have been meant for anyone, which only makes the mystery only intriguing. So the real question is: who wrote the love letter?🤔🤔

Of course, take everything I say with a grain of salt, but I genuinely can't wait for MC to get their hands on that love letter—or maybe Silver, or even Lilia, has already read what's inside. Or, in surprising twist, what if the letter doesn't include either the sender's or recipient's name? The only thing written on it is that it's meant to be delivered to Diasomnia. If that's the case, I'm sure Lilia, and Malleus would be incredibly curious about who sent it and who it was actually meant for.

But who really knows? Silver is one of the prettiest, most devoted, and gentlest people around in NRC—not to mention he's practically an animal magnet. The list of his qualities goes on and on, so it wouldn't be surprising at all if he received a love letter. I'm sorry that I cannot help but glaze Silver🤤🤤 I just love and adore him so much😂😂 I can genuinely imagine MC somehow never managing to find Silver. Or maybe they finally catch a glimpse of him, only for him to disappear from sight before they can catch up. Ohohoho... there are so many possibilities... and every single one seems to lead MC one step closer to becoming a five-course-star meal😂😂

Then, as a last resort, MC marches straight to Diasomnia and awkwardly asks for the letter back, probably embarrassing themselves in the process. Anyway, we still love you, MC. Even when you're at your absolute worse, you're somehow at your absolute best.

Also, I can't help but feel excited for the Octavinelle Arc because I have a feeling MC might somehow get involved—but who knows? If MC does end up becoming part of the Arc, I'm really looking forward to seeing their interactions with everyone involved.

Especially Jack Howl. He's seriously so underrated, but you know... whatever, I know there's Jack Howl fans out there😢😢 And don't even get me started on Leona, Ruggie, and Adeuce. If MC has to deal with all of them at once, they're absolutely done for. MC IS OUTTA THERE!!! Crossing my fingers that MC also punches Deuce for #payback but we ALL know that isn't happening😂😂 Yuu, and Crowley... we don't talk about them. Grim is just there, ily fat hungry cat🩷🩷

Also the possibility that Vil might be poisoning MC just to make them more pliable is something I didn't know but needed as a twist in a chapter... and then the cherry on top was Allichella's ask. Oh my god, my eyes have been opened WIDE!! Rook needs to do something...

Seeing everyone come up with wild theories and catch little details hidden throughout both the new and old chapters of Twisted Hearts has been incredible. It's honestly amazing how this fanfic has brought everyone together to theorize and connect all piece. And the most beautiful part is the union of all Jade Leech lovers🩷🩷

EMERGENCY: My apartment is infested with bed bugs

I am so, so sorry to be here asking for help. I've been trying to handle this on my own, but I've spent more than I had trying to handle it. The long and short of it is that there are bed bugs in my apartment, and I can't afford to treat them on my own.

We've been trying to deal with this since the beginning of the month. We don't know who brought them into the building or how. We hadn't been to visit anyone or had been visited by anyone when the bites started to appear, and it took us a few days after that to realize what we were dealing with. We never expected this would be something we would ever have to deal with in our lifetime, but this has been our entire lives this month.

It has been half a week since we've had any bites or seen any bed bugs, but my sister just had one crawling on her pillow just tonight. This means we need to do more treatments and more visits to the laundromat.

And in trying to treat these bed bugs, we've spent more money than we could afford. We're not going to be able to make rent. We can't afford to get bed frames to get our mattresses off the floor, and at this point we're planning on throwing our mattresses out entirely and getting air mattresses to replace them for the time being. But we can't afford that either, and we honestly NEED bed frames to put bed bug interceptors under them.

But we can't afford that, if we don't even have enough money in the bank right now to make rent by the end of the month. Doing this makes me sick, but I need to ask for help, or else I risk losing my apartment, spending every penny we have trying to get rid of an infestation we didn't cause.

UPDATE: My sister's dresser was infested

My sister found herself with new bites after not seeing any for a few days, and she found another place they seemed to be hiding. Her dresser. She found them crawling around in her pants.

We have tossed out the dresser entirely, but taking all of our clothes to the laundromat is expensive because we have to wash and dry on the highest setting, which costs more than normal loads. And on top of having to clean our clothes, we're going to need temporary containers to put her clothes in until we can get her a new dresser, more than likely once we've cleared the infestation.

I just came up with a theory about Kalim, so y’all remember that one vignette with Kalim and Jade? They’re talking about tea Kalim being quite knowledgeable about it since tea is often offered to important guests when hosting them so Kalim knows how to make it and Kalim shows Jade how he makes tea back home ( sugar was scarce at one point in the scalding sands so super sweet tea was actually a sign of wealth and the Asims being ultra rich take their tea very sweet) and Kalim mentions that he takes his with a lot of sugar, and Jades like oh what an interesting tradition, but then Kalim just dumps the whole cup of sugar into the pot and then mentions that this is still not enough sugar and runs off to get more. Jade is utterly terrified by this turn of events, our ray of sunshine is about to give this man a heart attack.

Thing is this is about how Kalim prefers his tea, then I remembered something kind of dark. See certain poisons mess with your sense of taste. So maybe Kalim puts an ungodly amount of sugar into things like his tea because he can’t taste it otherwise? Like he has trouble tasting sweet things now unless they have heart attack levels of sugar as a side effect of a past attempt in his life. And the worst part is our ray of sunshine has a sweet tooth so he has to use this much sugar to enjoy the flavors he used to :’(

Ever After High Book PDFs (and how to access them yourself!)

I’ve finally finished collecting and converting the books! This is a masterpost, so strap in. First, the goods:

This will take you to a Google Drive folder with both Ever After High book series! They are all PDFs, meaning you can easily download them and read at your own leisure. They’re free, completely safe, and yours to share! And of course, I ask that you keep this within the fandom so I don’t get any copyright notices.

Mattel released more books (like the pet books), but I didn’t download them because it was too much already! But I’m happy to report that you CAN access them from the same website I did. I’ll show you how to do that (and download the EPUB files if you want those).

HOW TO ACCESS THE BOOKS YOURSELF

1. Go to libgen.is

This is what you should see. Make sure that “Fiction” is selected underneath the search bar.

2. Type in “ever after high”.

All the books should come up. If you don’t see the title of the book you’re looking for, try searching the actual title or one of the authors (Shannon Hale or Suzanne Selfors).

Note: Fairy’s Got Talent and Fairy Tale Ending by Suzanne Selfors both come up under the name Ever After High. They look like this:

Make sure to read the Series name to know exactly what book you’re getting!

3. Click on the name of the book you want, under “Title”. It will take you to this page:

Now, PAY ATTENTION. Go to where it says “Download” and click on “[Libgen.rs]” ONLY. Nothing else. Do not torrent. That will get you in trouble. Do not click any other link than the one I’ve circled here. It is the only one I use, and the only one that I have personally ensured will not get you into pirating trouble or give you any viruses.

4. Click “Get”.

You will then wait until your computer has downloaded the document. It will appear as an EPUB.

MOST COMPUTERS/WEB BROWSERS CANNOT OPEN EPUBS!

So how will you be able to read it, you may ask? Stay tuned! There are 2 ways to do it.

HOW TO OPEN EPUB FILES

Easy Way

The easiest way to read your book is to turn it into a PDF first! I used this website to change all the EAH books into PDFs. It’s free, simple to use, and very safe. Link here: https://www.pdf2go.com/epub-to-pdf

The area with instructions has also been underlined. It automatically downloads for you! Just save to your computer and start reading!

Harder Way

If you truly want to read it as an e-book, here’s how to do it. These instructions only work for Chromium-based web browsers like Google Chrome or the NEW Microsoft Edge, so if you use Firefox, Opera, Safari, or something else, I’m sorry to say you’ll have to either look it up or do it the easy way.

1. Search Google for “chrome extensions”

It will take you to this site. 

2. Search “epub reader” scroll down until you find this:

Exactly this one, not a different one. I haven’t tried those and I don’t know how they work.

3. Click on it and add it to Chrome.

I use the new Microsoft Edge as my browser, but it’s based on the same thing as Chrome and thus you can download any Chrome extensions. Once you do this, it will now be an extension on your computer. Accept any permissions it asks for.

4. Click on the extension in your browser.

It shows up as a gray book. You will then see a blank page with this folder on the top. Click on the folder to open your file explorer.

5. Click on the EPUB you want.

If you move your mouse down to the gray line at the bottom, this strip at the bottom will appear. You can change settings, look at the Table of Contents, change the font size, and more!
