I can’t help but feel like the current trend of people acting like people are getting marked red on shinigami eyes for no reason (as if blatant transmisogynists aren’t still marked green like has been the case for years) is in response to the creator of soup can (a shinigami eyes alternative) revealed themselves to be a massive transmisogynist a few months ago to the point of defending marking people green who openly harass trans women including death threats and suicide baiting. Soup can lost all its good faith, so the kind of people who would prefer you use the plug-in run by someone actively hostile to trans women need to make the plugin that is merely disappointing look like it’s just as bad.
