Anthony Bridgerton is not a man of poetry but he is a man of hoetry and that, I find, is so much better
Anthony: I am not a man of poetry
Also Anthony: I am a gentleman. My father raised me to act with honor, but that honor is hanging by a thread that grows more precarious with every moment I spend in your presence. You are the bane of my existence, and the object of all my desires.

Janessa Leone, designer of the burgundy hat Taylor Swift wears on 'Red (Taylor's Version),' had no idea her design would be sported by Swift
Taylor Swift Style on Billboard
Janessa Leoné, the designer behind the burgundy velvet hat Taylor Swift is wearing on the just-unveiled cover of her re-recorded Red album, had no idea she'd be seeing the pop icon in one of her pieces on the upcoming release.
"It came as a total surprise to see her sport Mattie on the album cover -- we were genuinely shocked, but thrilled," Leoné, who launched her line in 2013, tells Billboard. (Billboard contacted Leoné to confirm the cap, seen on Swift's album cover below, was her design after spotting a tip from the very comprehensive fan-run fashion blog Taylor Swift Style.)
"I've known her stylist for years," Leoné says, "but did not work with her team on this shoot -- it was completely organic."
This isn’t directed at anyone in particular, just my two cents on the “which songs are autobiographical” debate: I’m a writer, and between my own personal experience writing and speaking with other writers, I’ve come to realize that no matter how far removed your story is from your own life, it’s often instinctual to draw upon your own personal experiences. One of the short stories I’ve written includes a character who goes through something similar to something that happened to me in real life, to the point that some of my friends have asked me if other events in the story are also “based on my life.” However, the story is not autobiographical, not in the slightest— I wouldn’t even say that I was inspired by this experience to write it. It just kind of made it’s way in, and the way it occurs in the story feels very different to me than what happened in real life. This is why I tend to get frustrated when people try to assign autobiographical meaning to songs after the songwriter has explicitly stated that they aren’t based on their life (and I’m not just talking about Taylor— I’ve seen this with a lot of other artists as well). There’s a difference between drawing from experiences and actually writing about experiences, and just because something in a song appears to mirror something that happened in the songwriter’s life does not mean that the song is meant to be autobiographical. Ultimately, only the creator knows what inspired the creation, and if they say that it’s completely based in fiction, then that’s what I’ll believe.
Thank you very much for this!
This feels like a major oversight by Taylor and her people...I’m sure they thought because people like Margot, Anya were signed on there are no red flags with this guy but they need to look into this kind of thing more deeply.
Uh no. I am sorry to be blunt but that is BS? First of all I greatly dislike the ongoing insinuation around here that Taylor and her people are stupid and don’t do their own research before she gets involved in things. Second of all and more importantly, People who work with a dude who has made poor past choices are not guilty or in any way wrong or dumb by proxy bc they later fall into his sphere somehow. They have not made any oversight, they are not the one who did something wrong here. So let’s throw that kind of bullshit out once and for all. We can hold a man accountable for HIS actions without dragging or otherwise looking down on the other humans who subsequently work with him, under him, or in his sphere for taking on jobs, roles, etc that further their own professional ambitions or in many people’s cases (obviously not Taylor’s) put food on the table. We don’t even know what Taylor’s role is here, it could be a cameo, it is likely a small part, she probably has tied a song into it somehow, nonetheless, we ought to trust that she weighed the pros and cons of the opportunity for furthering her professional ambitions and decided that it was worth spending her time and energy on. End of story really. We still can hold the dude accountable for his past choices without judging people who work with him in the future.
Virtually every man in Hollywood has a dirty history. If you excluded working with anyone with a stain on their past for one reason or another there would be about 5 dudes left to work with.
can i take ‘shitty takes’ for $1000 please
me whenever i look at everyone: why am i the only ugly person
We actually can hold people responsible for working with known abusers!!!!! That’s actually what we should do!!!! Even if it’s your fave!!!
Speaking of dance remixes, are you still dancing?
Funny you should ask. I’ve had people send messages inquiring what style of dance I do so a friend and I did a little combo to “Look What You Made Me Do” in heels.
(I am on the right, fyi)
