Cognitive Biases
Periodically, I try to remind myself of the biases blipping in and out of everyday life.

Anchoring is seen a lot in price negotiations and gambling.
The very hard to avoid once you see those puppy eyes, Anthropomorphism.
The Availability Heuristic (or Recency Bias).
There’s the commonly seen in sports / widely known Bandwagon Effect (and its cousin the Availability Cascade).
The very human Backfire Effect, when one “doubles down” on a belief in spite of possible evidence showing otherwise. Similar to Sunk Cost Fallacy.
There’s the well-named Gambler’s Fallacy, Hot Hand Fallacy, and Ostrich Effect.
Neglect of Probability.
The Ikea Effect explains the added weight one can give to things they directly had an output in.
The Normalcy Bias makes me think of the climate change crisis.
Maybe the G.O.A.T. bias, Stereotyping.
