BOYFRIENDS, ROLE-PLAYING, AND NEW ALBUM AT 'OTHER WOMAN' PREMIERE

"Extra" special correspondent Steve Santagati caught up with rapper Nicki Minaj at the L.A. premiere of "The Other Woman." Since the movie is about relationships, Steve asked Nicki if she ever role-plays for her boyfriends. The singer said that she did, but then followed up with, "Who said I had a boyfriend, first of all?" Nicki also chatted about wanting to continue acting, her process for writing songs, and about her upcoming personal album.

Minaj on 'Housewives' Fight: 'Someone Would of Got Knocked Upside the Head'

ET correspondent Lance Bass recently interviewed the always outspoken Nicki Minaj about her new film "The Other Woman", where the talk quickly turned to the reality TV fight that everybody's talking about. The spat between Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams that actually got physical.

"Being that I do love Kenya; if it was someone else, and not Kenya, I would've said, 'She got what was coming to her.' She definitely provoked Porsha," she tells ET, referring to Kenya calling Porsha a "dumb ho" over a bullhorn. "I mean, I wouldn't of sat there and let nobody do that to me. ... I wouldn't have been able to handle it. Someone would have had to get knocked upside the head."

"I think they're just regular women, trying to find themselves on reality TV. Like, that must not be an easy task," she muses. "You're going through your problems, you're sad, you got people making fun of your problems on TV, in front of the world ..."

AMERICAN IDOL'S RATINGS DOWN? BECAUSE VIEWERS MISS NICKI MINAJ? HEAR WHAT SHE HERSELF HAS TO SAY.

Each season of American Idol has been dropping and dropping. Just not America's top singing competition anymore. Maybe the viewers are just missing Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey's spotanuous fued.

Despite the poor ratings this year, Minaj says Idol is worth keeping around. "I think that overall it's such a great platform for people who need a voice, and who just need somebody to hear them and so I wish them the best."

On the side note, Minaj explains how she got the part as Lydia for her first movie. In the Nick Cassavetes-directed revenge comedy, Minaj plays Lydia, Diaz's outspoken assistant. Apparently she wasn’t what the director had in mind originally.

"They were actually looking to cast a Jewish girl for that role, and hey, I'm, I guess, Jewish now because he saw me and thought I would make a good Lydia," Minaj spilled during her sit-down with E! News.

NICKI MINAJ EXPLAINS NEW LOOK AND HER NEW MUSIC

The outlandish looks of Nicki Minaj is now over for a new recurring natural look. Minaj wants to go back to the look before all the mainstream make-up and wigs to when she was natural.

Minaj isn’t afraid to reinvent herself, especially with the aggressive attitude with her recent releases ‘Lookin' Ass’ and ‘Chi-Raq’. The Pink Print to her is going to fulfill the roots she’s going back to.

"The tracks on Pink Print are back to my hip-hop roots. And I don't think it's something that I'm necessarily trying to do. As soon as I started working on my new album, that's just the songs that I've been writing," she said, adding that not every track on the album is like "Lookin' Ass" and "Chi-Raq.”

Minaj even said she’ll have a track out in a week and a half that’s “nothing like” them. "I'm just gonna do what my heart tells me to do.” Guessing it’s nothing like her recent work such as “Super Bass” or “Starships” as she states “Hell no.”
