 I usually don’t do this, but the reasons why I am are very important. My life situation right now is stressful and very frustrating, but I’m trying my best to cope. 

It’s difficult for me to say, and I’m REALLY uncomfortable talking about my personal life openly…but essentially, I’m having serious issues with my medical insurance at the moment. They are refusing to pay my medication and treatments. 

I’m very sick. I’ve been dealing with this illness since I was a child. Because the medical insurance is denying me coverage, we have to pay my treatments out of pocket. It has drained us emotionally and financially. My family has resorted to hiring a lawyer with money we don’t have. We are also behind on our bills because of me. It’s painful for me to watch my family struggle.

This isn’t a peg for a sympathy party, I really hate trying to get into details and even then this is all a little vague, but I am very serious that my situation has reached a point where I can not keep quiet any longer without risking the safety of my entire family. I need to help out. 

So by doing commissions, I hopefully can at least help pay for everything. I am unable to work regular jobs because of my condition and as a child I did not feel like my drawings were good enough to sell but…I hope they are now?

As of current I feel my prices to be reasonable, and I will do my best to keep a consistent standard of quality in regards to the commissions.

Freelancing art is what I will be doing for a while to help support my family as best I can. Please understand I’m going to dedicate most of my time now to doing these commissions, this is a very serious matter. This will be treated as a job for the time being.

I will open a few slots at a time so I can concentrate on each of your requests and give my clients the 100% they deserve. If you’re interested please email me at [email protected].

okay, i’m doing this. 

hi, my name is tracy aka runes, runesby, etc. i don’t usually like to blog about my private life very often, but i’ve reached a point where i’m absolutely desperate. very recently, i’ve been experiencing a pretty killer pain in the left side of my mouth. upon closer inspection, i’ve discovered i have a wisdom tooth coming in AND two deep cavities on my back upper teeth. they’re both causing me an INSANE amount of pain and discomfort and it’s hard for me to eat and sleep.

i don’t have dental insurance. now i know it might seem trifling to most, especially since people usually resort to donation posts for very serious things, but i’ve reached my wits end. i don’t have any money. i don’t want to ask my parents because they’re already taking care of my mom’s medical bills (which include 10+ medications). and even if i DID ask, they probably don’t have the money. 

i’d offer commissions, but i’m currently at a point in life where i honestly can’t promise them due to time constraints. if you’re willing to wait a while, maybe until i’m done with the semester, i could possibly arrange something. until then, though…

this is probably going to run me a couple hundred dollars, and i swear i wouldn’t be asking if i wasn’t in serious trouble. even if it’s a dollar, i’d appreciate it wholeheartedly! my paypal is [email protected] iirc, but if you have any questions, please message me on tumblr!
