Isadora Miller has always been, well, somewhat a mystery, to the people around her, even to the small amount of friends she managed to keep. She’s blunt, and hard, and she doesn’t sugar-coat anything whatsoever. She thinks it pointless to fumble with unnecessary and untruthful words, when the answer is almost always painstakingly obvious. She isn’t rude, though. Well, she tried her hardest not to be. She’s polite when she has to be, and sophisticated enough.
Isadora doesn’t like to talk about things that she doesn’t find interesting, but the things that she does, she will not shut up about. And the problem there is that she finds mostly everything interesting. She doesn’t do anything half-heartedly, and either cares too much, or not at all. Isadora has a horrible habit of living maybe a little bit too passionately. She falls in love with people she’s never met, can’t help but like the idea of a person, more than the actual thing.Â
She tends to spend the majority of her time, wrapped up in her own head, thinking about crazy things she’d like to do, or places she would much rather be. Its not that Isadora doesn’t know how to react in social situations, its that she thinks she does, and she’s horribly wrong. She’s not exactly airy-fairy, but she just likes her own universe better. Isadora plays the piano, and adores classical music. Its much easier to day dream to a soundtrack of Beethoven’s Symphony 9. No one’s ever heard her play, her taking to it as a very personal thing, that she does in her own time, when she’s either happy or sad. She can’t play too often at Hogwarts, but when she does, its either in the room of requirement, or the grand in the music classroom. But only when its void of people.Â
Her mother is Alicia Spinnet, former Gryffindor and Dumbledores Army member, and her father is a muggle by the name of Gregory Miller. Isadora grew up in a small cottage right outside of Cheswick, having the sort of ‘best of both worlds’ half-blood childhood. Given the seven year age gap between her and her sister Delphi, she can’t be as close as she would like to her. That’s just what she’s always known, though. She can’t be as close to anyone as she would like, given that whenever she does get close to people, they don’t live up to her expectations.Â
