While I (like some others) am less than thrilled at the way David's reappearance has overshadowed Jodie's departure and Ncuti's upcoming debut, nevertheless I hope his episodes next year do massive ratings and that this helps lead to even more massive ratings for Ncuti's run, and that of his successor, and on and on.

Because the longer Doctor Who is on the air and still drawing viewers and being profitable, the better the chances for Jodie to make another appearance as 13 and, fingers crossed, a potential Thasmin reunion.

I'm playing the long game here folks.

there were four seasons, there was heartbreak, there was fear and there was loss, but my overriding emotion was excitement. i felt like the over-riding thing the doctor brought was curiosity and excitement. obviously fear, rage and all those things, but the thing that encapsulated my doctor the most was that bouncing into things, and that really fed into my evening and my weekend and my year. (x)

I love Yasmin Khan so much!

Plus I think the fact that Yaz has stayed with the Doctor throughout the whole of her life span of her 13th incarnation makes Thasmin even that bit more special and heart breaking.

Some of the most common misconception / complaints I see about The Legend of Korra.

TLOK is great. People tend to view it with extra shades of nostalgia goggles and I think it prevents a lot of people from enjoying the show, which is a shame.

I absolutely loved the way the world had evolved 70+ years after the 100 years war. Everything felt like a natural progression. (Okay, everything except for the giant mecha in Book 4)
