BREAKING!!!!!!!:
2017 Spirit Of Atlanta’s uniforms!!
The drum community lost a dear member recently in Finis Sparkman. He tragically passed away after a medical complication earlier this week, while on tour with Music City Drum Corps. He has made countless friends and made a difference in the lives of countless people in his time. Shortly after his passing, because of his organ donor status, someone's life was saved. Please give anything you can to this incredible family. Finis was surely a reflection of their selflessness and kindness, and helping ease any financial burden they may have is the least this community can do.
With heavy hearts, the AQ community mourns the loss of one of our own. During the summers, it is easy to say goodbye to our friends as we go our separate ways, knowing that we will all come back...
My friend is gone.
Please keep the AQ and MCDC family in your thoughts at this time.
Best cymbal line of dci?
I think that it really depends on a persons taste. I like a lot of different styles and I think the diversity of cymbal lines really appeals to that.
This is my way of saying I didn’t pay enough attention this past season and I was just being a social butterfly.
Spirit of Atlanta - All Days 2015
Thomas is a second year color guard vet with Spirit of Atlanta. I got to meet him Monday but before that I got to watch him spin. He’s only 16, but he performed every rep with the same intensity you’d see from a 6 year age out vet. I really don’t know much about color guard, but to me, this kid was perfect. I learned later that Thomas lost his mom a few years ago, and she marched Crossmen color guard in the late eighties to early nineties. You can see the passion and love he has for her and this activity in every rep. He’s an amazing performer to watch. He makes me proud to be an alum.
Thomas recently lost everything in a fire. He and his dad have been through so much. Please give anything you can.

2016 Bluecoats but every time they go down a slide the pitch goes up a half-step
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE
the most intense thing i have ever watched
I can feel the sheer, raw power just eminating from this video
this person is a bard and the MVP of whatever party he belongs to
I definitely tried the arcade version of this in Taiwan and I was pretty awful
If you don’t play bassoon reblog this because it applies to you too
You have to slam your hands together extra, extra hard for these pancake cymbals to be effective but man do they smell delicious.
@people who overhype summer band
You will look back at your pre-drum corps Facebook and think ‘Oh god why’
Knock knock - “Hey can we borrow your front yard?“
i loved warming up in peoples lawns like damn drum corps can have some moxy sometimes to just walk up into someones yard and warmup
Almost all of music theory can be explained by one simple circle, the Circle of Fifths shows the relationship between math and music, between ratios and harmony
