Saturday night in The Plough Dulwich! Our 2024 Xmas cracker! 🎁
Back at The Plough with AtPM next weekend - Saturday evening, 27th July, 7:30pm! We'll be promoting 'Working For You' our new album soon to be released and looking forward to a guest appearance from the inimitable Lucia Goya Betts on trumpet. Look forward to seeing you all there!
Paul David Betts returns to The Plough with Acoustic Trio!
Back in March, Paul Betts played The Plough in Dulwich with his band All The President's Men. The band featured the original lineup of Jim on bass and Janos on drums, with the addition of Simon on alto sax - having previously done a gig as a duo with Simon at The Endeavour Deptford as part of Independent Venue Week.
Paul returns to The Plough this weekend with a new acoustic project, again with Simon on sax and now also featuring Bella on cello.
They've been in the studio recording acoustic reinterpretations of All The President's Men material, and will be showcasing their new work at The Plough on Saturday 15th June.
The trio will also feature acoustic rearrangements of classic covers - showtime is 7:30pm! The Plough is located at 381 Lordship Lane SE22 8JJ. https://www.facebook.com/ThePloughEastDulwich
See you all there!
Paul Betts helps raise £300 for charity at The Old Dispensary
Paul Betts put in a solid opening set as part of a recent Cost of Living Crisis Concerts fundraiser at The Old Dispensary #Camberwell for the FoodCycle London Peckham kitchen at All Saints, Peckham!
Paul delivered a great set of classic covers and a couple of originals, both of which will feature on his forthcoming All The Presidents Men band album early on in 2024. He's also looking forward to being part of Independent Venue Week in February '24!
The Old Dispensary #Camberwell event raised almost £300 for the charity, which will help #Foodcycle help those in need. Thanks to ph7, Cost of Living Crisis Concerts and Grove Collective for helping to make it happen! Also to the many other bands who donated their time - HOTMOTEL, MeU, The Dubious Characters, Undici, Tahlia Gray, and Motherwitzband.

Swing by and say hello!
OTC and Dorchester Court!
Starting off summer 2023!
We've got two great gigs coming up in Herne Hill and with our brilliant new lineup - the first indoors on 16th June in Off The Cuff (Railton Road) and then on 8th July outdoors for the always amazing Dorchester Court Summer Party!
Great bands lined up for both - featuring HOTMOTEL, Dan Cross, Orchestra Fantasma and The Barbarian Horde!
Here’s a map so you can find your way to Dorchester Court. The Summer Party takes place in the garden centre of DC with events all day and into the night. As one of the organisers Rupert Ingham (HOTMOTEL) says: “it’s even better at night”. Can be tricky finding it ... 24 Herne Hill is a rough address.
Look forward to seeing you there!
South East Central Lewisham Showcase this Thursday, Vanishing Point in May!
On Thursday 23rd March it’s our chance to play South East Central Lewisham but it’s not our first SEC Lewisham - we went along last month to see singer-songwriter-synth musician Sansha share the Fox and Firkin stage (316 Lewisham High Street) with rockers HOTMOTEL and Dan Cross. Truly great night in a remarkable music venue! So few of these iconic pubs with stages remain available for live music. And what an interesting mix of acts!
‘What marks Neil March’s music out from that of other contemporary composers is the combination of his avant-garde tendencies and pop sensibilities‘ - Max Reinhardt, Late Junction, BBC Radio 3
As for us this week - it’s another Trust the Doc night for South East Central, so it’ll be another combination of acts - we’ll be sandwiched between two heavy rock bands, Everafter and Prymå!
South East Central is a monthly live event curated by promoter, composer, recording artist, performer (in his band Music of Sound), educator and broadcaster Trust the Doc, aka Neil March of Fresh on the Net and Trust The Doc Media.
One final Vanishing Point gig at AMP Studios (Arch 4) on Thursday 4th May will feature us alongside Dragon Welding and Nick Haeffner
Neil has also curated the Vanishing Point series of shows at Amp Studios, Old Kent Road. Known as The Quiet Gig, VP was characterised by a mix of electronic, ambient and experimental music with acoustic artists. This series comes to a close on 4th May with one final gig as Amp moves away from live music in favour of corporate hire and weddings. We played VP almost exactly one year ago to the date with Hannya White, Negative Response and Billy Brown ... and we’re proud to be playing the goodbye date as well alongside Dragon Welding and Nick Haeffner.
ATPM Back in the George Canning!
Our first gig since our Cost of Living Crisis Concert in the George Canning Pub in Camberwell in December is ... back in the Canning by invitation! Same great pop hooks to get you up on your feet we had on show last time but with the extra special bonus of Lucia Goya Betts on trumpet and keyboards! We’ll be doing songs from all three albums including our new single, plus arrangements of classic covers! Should be a great night out, see you there! ATPM at the Canning 11th March 8:30pm
Cost of Living Crisis Concert
We really enjoyed being part of the second Cost of Living Crisis Concert series event in Camberwell at the George Canning in December. It’s a series initiated as a pre-festival Herne Hill Music Festival event in September 2022 and as of now there have been three concerts which have raised almost £1500 for six different food-led charities. The campaign looks for musicians keen to be heard and who donate their talents to help charities needing financial assistance to help nourish struggling South Londoners. Admission is by donation.
And what a great lineup for our concert! From Casino Moon (thanks to Oli and Mags for sharing their PA with everyone!) Rufus Miller and Joe Wilkes during the unplugged portion of the event, to ourselves and The New Immigrants staging the electric bands portion after the England v France World Cup Quarterfinal (The Clan had to pull out due to band member illness), it was a great night and we closed the night with an encore set! Jim and Janos were the rhythm section for both bands too! Thanks to Andrew King Photography for the photos in this post. We lost the football but everyone sang their hearts out with us!
Rockin’ out in Kingston!
We had a great time last week in Kingston, and wonderful to have had our drummer Janos back with us after a long absence! Here are a couple of videoclip links from the show!

Jubilee gig at The Herne!
We really enjoyed at our AMP Old Kent Road gig for Vanishing Point and Trust The Doc. We followed that up with a show at The Herne Tavern in East Dulwich, over Jubilee weekend! Everyone had a great time!
Here’s a little video clip from that as well!

Revisiting some of our videos this Jubilee22 weekend! Including 'Time Turns to Tears’ which features Spanish singer/songwriter/guitarist ALBA (Twitter: @musicbyalba) and created by our drummer Janus. Drummers always seem to make the best videos! Alba also features on our Twitter masthead: https://twitter.com/Graduates22/header_photo
Hey hey thanks David Campbell for the recent spin of ‘Tuesday’ on a Tuesday for Red Lamp Radio!
ATPM at The Herne Tavern for Jubilee weekend!
All the President's Men featuring Lucia Goya Betts on Trumpet, Flugelhorn, keyboards and vocals, will be playing the Herne Tavern (2 Forest Hill Road, London SE22 0RR) this Saturday eve 4th June. Songs from all 3 albums, and takes on classic songs all wrapped up in a semi acoustic Latin and Jazz leaning vibe.
New single 'Catch the Feeling', and video to be released soon with forthcoming dates!
We’re at Vanishing Point tonight!
Tonight at AMP Studios Old Kent Road presented by Vanishing Point, ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN, with LUCIA GOYA BETTS on trumpet, flugelhorn, keyboards and vocals. How cool is that?
In a brilliant lineup also including @HannyaWhite, @NegReg001 & @BillyBrownSongs!
