Today we came across Londoner Oscar, yet another Soundcloud surf for the win Its hard no to compare His sound as somewhere between The Smiths and Mac Demarco so if you're a fan of either or both you won't be dissapointed. Holy Holy: Sentimental and Monday

Holy Holy consist of  timothy Carroll and Oscar Dawson both members from different countries and both well established in their own right, who met while teaching english in South- East- Asia and reconnected wile on thier own endavours in Europe. They have not yet released an album but are already creating a name for themselves (so make sure you see them before its too late) citing artists such as crosby, Stills and Nash, Grizzly Bear and Neil Young as some of their influences you can hear aspects from each feed into their music give Sentimental Monday a listen below.

The first thing that drew my attention to this song (besides it being new Toro Y Moi) was that it featured SAFE who made and amazing song years back and then disappeared. if you have ever watched or been to a rudimental set then the chances are that you would have seen Anne- Marie up there with them having worked with other bands such as magnetic man and gorgon city the direction that Anne has taken with this track makes perfect sense and what you get is a track from someone who has paid attention to her surroundings and waited for the right moment to take the reigns. Raury: Devil’s Whisper (Video)

Raury is going from stgrenth to stgrenth fresh off a freestyle with XXL magazine he as released visuals for new song “Devils whisper”.the songs amost an echo of its where as gods whisp uses lyrics like “i hear God’s Whisper” giving an inviting tone. Devil’s whisper is a poloar opposite advising the listener to “run from the Devil” all while using imprints of the prior God’s whisper linking the two almost giving us no choice but to listen and to both and compare notes. I am always a fan of bands collaborating because the outcome always seems to excede expectations,in recent years we have had Rocket Juice and the moon, Atoms For Peace, and they have both been brilliant. Nathan Williams of Waves and Dylan Baldi of the Cloud Nothings dropped their collaborative album quite surprisingly we were aware one would surface but not really sure when but “No Life For me” is hear and is a good rock album check it out

Nao: Golden

Nao has come a long way from her first release alongside A. K Paul, since then she has toured with little dragon, appears on Disclosure’s newley announced album, we did not have our blog running but we were letting as many people know about Nao as we could. With one EP under her belt she has another out. ‘Golden’ has been taken from mentioned EP and although it has been around the blogosphere for some time now we still feel like we it deserves one more post. Keep an eye out for Nao

Hester: Promise To Return

AND WERE BACK! Blog has been M.I.A. for a while but we are back and ready to give your ears what they have been missing.

 First up is South london outfit Hester. They have been on the Southside underground music scene for a while steadily releasing material and playing shows. But now the group have deemed it fit to release theor debut EP 'Promise To Return' If you are listening to the band for the first time the fusing a wide array of musical genres jazz, indie, afrobeat (the real type) and pop to name a few. Eryn Allen Kane: Have Mercy

Recently heard on Prince’s tribute song to the city of Baltimore. Eryn has stepped out of his shadow to showcase ber set of pipes. There are no instruments present on the track, they have been substituted with Eryn’s vocal instrumentation and I don’t think that the song would work another way.
