i noticed that my lil guy chad has had a VERY noticable underbite compared to when i first got him, so i wanted to know if any of you have experienced this, and if it is healthy for him!

is this normal for bettas ?
he isn't able to close his mouth, but he is still able to eat perfectly fine ! should i be worried ?
Questions to any fish people. I have a ten gallon freshwater tank with a dumbo betta (Mr. Banana pants) and a new clown pleco (Sir. Bobo). I introduced the clown pleco recently and I just want to make sure that there is a safe transition between Mr. Bananapants flying solo and now having a roommate. When introducing Bobo I to bananas out and rearranged the ornaments to make it look like a new tank. I even flipped the side that the filter was on so that bananapants needs to re-establish his territory. When meeting Bobo, bananapants flared and tried to goad Bobo into fighting him by mirroring but there have been no fights so far. Minor nipping, but no fights. Second day and Mr. Bananapants seemed to have forgotten that Sir Bobo is there at all. I am still keeping an eye on the two of them but is there anything that I should be looking for? I plan on transferring them to a bigger 20+ gal tank but I might be moving in a few months and don't want to establish a tank just to take it down again.

How long do you quarantine new fish? I've hear anything from 1-8 weeks with many saying about 4 is best. I know reefers tend to like longer qt times. This is a freshwater set up. I bought all my community fish at once before and have never needed quarantine, but now will be adding some to an established group.
So I have had fish and betta fish before but never this issue. There seems to be a film forming on the top of the water, JD seems to be as lively as ever so I don't thunk he is being affected by it. I only noticed it and looked it up, seems to be a protein film. It happens when the water isn't agitated enough, should I fix it by an airstone? is there a better way than that because this may cause a current that JD doesn't like too. I see frequently see him play in the little bit of a current the filter makes though so he may like it too.
Friends who do leaf litters, I have three questions!
What kind of leaves do you use (besides IAL)? How do you deal with the mulm/old leaf debris? I forgot the third one... If it comes back to me I'll add it 😂
I need advice! Is this white spot on Leo’s fin a cause for concern? If so, what should I do to help him? For reference, he is in a ten gallon divided tank (the other side houses another betta) with sponge filters that we clean regularly and a heater that keeps the tank around a constant 78-80 degrees F. Leo had what looked like a fungal infection which I treated with tetra fungus guard and he got better (more color, eating again etc) but now he has this.
Okay so!!! I made a stop by petco today and I got my hands onnn
a 50W heater(it heats the tank to around 78F so lets pray for my shirmp)
Some aquarium salt for both tanks later on, once im more confident to use it 8);;
and some Microbe-Lift Herbal Actives Herbtana(16oz)
I mixed a mil in with a cup of conditioned water and poured it into the tank wth the filter off for a bit because thats what he girl at petco instructed me to do, and the heater is all set up but it is Also off for the time being.
Now it my question is, directions say that i should add a ml of it every day to the tank for 10 days, but is that just. by itself? With no water changes? Or should I do a water change during new dosages?
