I'm trying very hard to find a fic where Orion sees how certain things are revelations to Hadrian. Hadrian looks at Orion's old picture books fascinated in their library. Sirius and Remus gets an idea about his upbringing and Sirius blows up things in the duelling room.

I have been reading this fic for like the third time and I just adore they way you write all of them! This was originally just a warm up, but it spiraled and I thought I would share it.

I just finished catching up on Dimension hoppers. Hadrain is ace in the newest chapter. Does that mean he is also ace in CLV or is it just a Dimension Hoppers thing?

Dimension Hoppers has nothing to do with me aside from the CLV background/characters so ace!Hadrian is the author’s headcanon. CLV’s Hadrian could be ace, I’m not opposed to it so I might go with that too, but I also don’t know if the issue will ever come up.

I just read C’est La Vie (I don’t know how I didn’t find it before considering how I’ve read so many of your fics before), courtesy of that wonderful recent fanart I saw you reblog.

It’s?? Amazing?? I’m addicted. I’ve been reading more novel translations than fanfiction for the past year or so but reading your fic somehow made me crave more fanfiction. Now I’m stuck cuz I haven’t found any that’s just as good that I haven’t already read. (Do you have any recommendations?)

But actually, my main question is, should I ever get around to writing a fic of your fic, do you have any rules aside from not writing from where you stopped? Could I, for example, drop in a third Potter? Steer it towards almost-crack humour? I don’t even know how in character I can write... So, just checking.

Not really any rules aside from that. Like, don’t copy/paste what I’ve written obviously, and if you do write a spinoff of some kind, remember to credit and link, but otherwise, you’re free to do whatever. You can definitely drop a third Potter in there if you want.

I was rereading CLV and there's this one question that has been bugging at me since the first time I stumbled upon it. In chapter 2, during Hadrian's sorting, you name the Sorting Hat Alistair, I was wondering about that, does it have any special meaning or did I overlook something? Also on a lighter note, the five year anniversary of CLV is coming up in 3 days 🥳🥳 (I checked, the published date and the last-updated date are both February 19th, 2015, did you really drop 100k+ words in one day or is my account faulty hehe 💓) Thanks for the amazing fantastic *insert all praise words ever invented here* fic !! I had a vague idea for naming the Sorting Hat that felt a lot more important back then than it does now, idk if I’ll bring that back around, it will probably be mentioned again because Chekov’s gun but at this point, no there’s no special meaning to it rip.

As for the date thing, lmao no I used to post only on ff.net but then I moved everything over to ao3, so that’s why it looks like I wrote and posted nine chapters at the same time. But yeah that does remind me it’s been a while, I should really try to hammer out the next chapter.

Are you alright with if I wrote a spin off that is more ship related considering you have C'est La Vie as a gen fic?

You can def write something ship-centric in the CLV universe but I would rather you not simply copy/paste the whole fic and only change it to give it a ship slant. You can write your own spin-off plot or snapshot scene it into the clv canon.

I'm not sure if this is the type question to ask here or if this has already been asked, but what was the inspiration behind adding Orion Black to the dimension hopped universe since he wasn't in HP canon? Also, why the name Orion? From what I understand it seems like Sirius would be unlikely to follow the black naming tradition with his distaste towards his family line. Maybe I missed something and Sirius is on better terms with his family here?

As for the name, I have vague plans for Regulus (yes he’s alive) and possibly some expansion on the Black family as a whole, most of whom were still prejudiced assholes but Sirius’ dad may or may not have had a hand in saving Regulus (he died the same year Regulus died in canon, I’ve always wanted to poke at that little detail), and Orion’s name is a nod to that. It’s not anything concrete, Idk if I’ll ever write anything about that, but that was partly how the name came to be. The other part is that I just like the name Orion.

Hi I have a question- since Harry doesn’t like “dark creatures,” would he discriminate against Hagrid, who’s half giant?

I haven’t really thought about any interactions these two might have but I’d go with no, he’s fine with Hagrid, maybe they’re not so close but he’s a family friend like Remus but not something he’d turn his nose up at, it’s more his fixation on werewolves in particular and more “openly dark” creatures in general that’s the problem.

There was a reborn into another Universe fic for Hadrian and Orion. I forgot the details. It was posted here. Reborn into the Naruto verse. Hadrian and Orion are reborn. Orion has absolutely no sibling rivalry with his brother which is unheard of in clan. He's basically emotionless. Hadrian was born into a warrior clan and had made a name for himself. They meet accidentally and realize who each other are. Please give me details if you have it?
