okay it's not starker related but I was just rewatching 'the amazing spider-man' and honestly I'm surprised nobody ended up shipping peter with george. like, you've got your enemies to lovers arc right there, imagine the police captain dating cute, dorky peter and then finding out he's the spider-man that he's been trying to arrest for so long! and then imagine him having to explain to his team why he's suddenly not interested in catching the so-called vigilante anymore. I'm sorry, there was just potential there and I can't believe it's not even a thing
