AU after Bridesmaid Revisited where Rory and Logan stay broken up.
-> The Art of Failing [Rory/Jess, T, 2k, 2023] — It’s the 2008 recession. Rory loses her job, but finds a friend.
-> this could be good (i can’t change even if i wanted to) [Paris/Rory, T, 3k, 2018] — Rory’s girlfriend invites her to a fancy Hanukkah celebration held by her family, but there are a few problems: Rory has no idea how to act at a fancy event and nobody knows that Rory and Paris are dating.

Set in their senior year at Yale, slight AU, where Doyle broke up with Paris at some point and Rory didn’t get back with Logan after she found out about all the girls he slept with during Thanksgiving (because she actually had standards- and another blonde in her life).

-> Training Montage [Duck & Aubrey, T, 1k, 2024] — Aubrey decides she wants to expand her skillset and asks Duck for help. Set between Season 1 and Season 2.
I once watched a girl in the produce aisle pick up a bushel of bananas that were precariously perched on the edge and move them farther back and under her breath she said “there you go sweeties - that will be more comfortable” before shuffling off and… I think about her often.
I was driving on the highway and passed a dude absolutely JAMMING alone in his car, doing those little half dance moves you do when you’re stuck sitting down in a small space, bellowing unheard lyrics at the top of his lungs, and my instant reaction was to think “I love you.” And then to pray he had a good day, or whatever, because those fleeting moments of connection are so incredible.
And here is the resulting image. There is at least Someone in the U.K. government who is actually doing their job, and it is Chief Mouser to the Cabinet, Larry the Cat.

Eddie opens his mouth to allow Buck in, backing him firmly into the counter. Buck tastes like coffee, and there’s a few grains of sugar on his lips that Eddie licks off. He absently wonders if Buck had brought pastries, and apparently that’s all it takes for him to remember himself, remember that he’s only partially dressed and definitely reeks of hangover, can practically smell the alcohol oozing through his sweat glands.
He pulls back, presses a chaste kiss to the side of Buck’s mouth as his hand drops from the back of Buck’s neck to reach blindly for the mug. Buck doesn’t make a noise as he passes it over, silently allowing Eddie to take one sip, then another.
“Mm,” Eddie says, half a grunt, “is that a new creamer?”
please please please. learn to use the built-in tumblr content filtering systems. they work based on tags and/or words in the post itself. xkit rewritten has a feature to hide filtered posts entirely instead of just covering them with a "this post contains filtered content" label. if something is annoying you then you just don't have to see it, you don't have to let it keep bugging you until you spontaneously become the joker. please god.

"Why would this character be jealous of their friend's romantic relationships? Clearly they're in love with them" I don't know if you guys have ever Had Friends but it's actually pretty common for people to feel jealous if their best friend suddenly has less time for them and is prioritising someone they just met over them. That's not inherently romantic, that's the general human desire to be valued by the people you value.
