i interpret this song about imagining an idealistic life, an escapist dream from reality, finding a solution for any problems that would ever occur in this fictional scenario whilst denying and refusing the reality of the their life. throughout the song it's like their dream is being ruined by the reality of everything, pressing in a constant weight, as they try to profess how dearly they care for and want this life with the object of their affections.
