No, Norway is not a socialist country; it is a social democracy. It combines a free-market capitalist economy with a comprehensive social safety net. Economic and Political Framework Capitalist Foundation: Private ownership drives the economy. Market Economy: Most businesses operate to make a profit. Nordic Model: High taxes fund robust public services. Social Safety Net: Citizens get universal healthcare and education. Strong Welfare: Government intervention protects workers and families. Key Differences from SocialismProperty Rights: Individuals, not the state, own most industries. Wealth Creation: Capitalist markets generate national wealth. Resource Management: The state manages oil revenues through a sovereign wealth fund rather than controlling all commerce.

Social democracy includes capitalism. It taxes us fairly. The rich pay their share. The money is used FOR its citizens. Example: When anyone can get a good education for little to no money (socialism) you will be able to get the education to start your own business (capitalism).

Whoever did this chart had a period key that must have been missing. Tax corporations and ultra rich to pay there fair share, stop giving bailouts and subsidies to corporations and Elon and stop sending billions to Israel and this is possible.

Visited Norway recently. It is a beautiful country. The people are secure in themselves. No one is struggling to survive. There is a comfort, a confidence at every social level. People look out for each other. This makes it feel safe for everyone. This is what an advanced economy looks like. Innovation is everywhere. Infrastructure is constantly updated. Life is good…. If this is social democracy, then give me more.
