- The fact that Trucy has done the “stow-away-in-mr-edgeworth’s-suitcase” trick enough times that Miles isn’t even surprised she showed up in Khu'rain in spirit of justice. Meaning that she frequently stowed away in his luggage and came along on Phoenix’s trips to europe with Edgeworth during his disbarment.
- The whole 75% of Justice for All where Phoenix acted like a scorned lover whenever anyone brings up Edgeworth because he was presumed dead-by-scooter-ankle. He was noticably more bitter throughout the game honestly. Seriously, he was livid.
- It’s on the collage, but Miles frequently watches Trucy’s magic shows with Phoenix, who invited him.
- Phoenix asked the Sprockets if Miles could attend their wedding at the end of turnabout wedding. Miles actually went. They’re just there standing together watching Larry get mauled by a bunch of ladies after he caught the boquet.
- In a conversation with Maya, it was revealed that Phoenix transferred to law school midway through his art degree after seeing Edgeworth getting slandered on a newspaper. His letters and calls over the years went unanswered, and he wanted so badly to talk to him that he became a lawyer just to see Edgeworth again. The entirety of Ace Attorney would fall apart if he wasn’t obsessed with reaching Edgeworth. Then, after the 7-year gap and his disbarment was lifted, he took the bar exam again after Edgeworth asked him to return to law and solve a massive case together. He didn’t take the bar for edgeworth once, but TWICE.
- I haven’t even touched on the anime. The golden chains imagery in the first opening. The signal samurai keychains subplot. The very wholesome childhood episodes where they spend time together as kids and still thinking of each other after being driven apart, and Phoenix succesfully reaching out to Miles once through a radio request. All of it, man.
