Marzi (full name Marzaretha-Anne, though you would not wish to call her this in person) is a strange upper-class lady and a member of Lumiose's Society of Battle Connoisseurs. She spends her days holed away in Hotel Richissime and her nights haunting Lumiose's battle zones simply for the fun of it all, with no lofty goals of ranking up; regardless of her ventures, her ace, Gothitelle, follows her everywhere like a shadow.

general about marzi; she's a little loopy lol. on the outside she's a mysterious pretty lady, and then you talk to her for more than just pleasantries and you find out she's actually kind of insane. she, much like the rest of the SBC, worships the ground jacinthe walks on and is also an insane battle freak herself. in her downtime she sticks to her own company, preferring pokemon over people, but is known to wander around the nouveau cafe trucks late at night, after a few hours at the battle zones, and give heavy tips even though she absolutely hates the taste of bitter coffee.

she often tries to emulate jacinthe in conversation... which means she can be, unintentionally, really annoying.

as general rules for this blog go; my oc does have interactions with canon characters in her lore, but these will be omitted if interacting with accounts of said characters unless discussed!!! i don't want anybody to feel forced to diverge from their own lore/interpretations.

feel completely free to be rude to her LOL, i won't take it personally!! and i think there's potential for a lot of silly interactions considering lots of people are abrasive towards the SBC.

if you're not comfortable with oc interactions please feel free to block me so i don't accidentally interact!! no hard feelings ^-^

general warnings will include alcohol (marzi drinks copious amounts of wine in lieu of actual medication) and dr^g use...? (she also puts venom in her tea for fun because she's NORMAL!!!) i won't go into depth about either of these (unless prompted, which will be warned), but she might make little remarks here and there.

i'm 18+, but for my own comfort i won't be posting or portraying anything of the sort.

i'm open to ships with chemistry...! marzi was made for my own little oc x canon indulgence, but this blog will pointedly ignore any of that unless discussed also because she is her own character outside of shipping. (note, marzi is around her mid-late 20s...? i haven't totally figured it out. oopsie)

on that note— i use lots of "~" to emulate marzi's sort of cadence, what with her being a weirdo, a posh rich lady and perpetually tipsy. this isn't intended to be read as flirty....!!! unless we have discussed shipping in which case go crazy with it!!!!
