Timeless

I yearn for the sun licking my skin as I walk across warm sand. I yearn for that feeling of openness in my soul like no worries have ever filled the space with dread. I yearn to see your face and trace the lines along your skin. Your smile radiating towards me caught in between time, unchanged; unmoved. Forever 24, you smile at me with a boyish charm. I watch as your eyes follow the sands of the beach down shore and past me, curiosity beginning to take over the contours of your face. Are you seeing the same thing as me? Can you hear me? Are you happy?
