It is located on a lake with 21 acres of undeveloped land behind it. Those 21 acres are Kings Lake Recreational Camp currently owned by the Salvation Army for a youth camp. I want to buy it and put the first Phoenix Rising Facility of Healing for adults in the middle of it on Kings Lake. That facility will be cannabis and naturopathic medicine preferred and provided. Then around that facility we will build an entire city 🌃 out of the Hemp plant that teaches its residents self sustainability skills like growing their own food and raising their own livestock. Do what scares you in 2017!

Here we are....2017.... Went to bed around 2am and woke up at 8:30 to use the bathroom and assess my wakefulness. We didn't drink last night but even too much cannabis can make me a little tired hungover. Decided to crawl back into bed with my loves and listen to this Guided Meditation. https://youtu.be/VxHoJuyxiXs I fell back asleep and my alarm woke me up at 10am with "You are Present! You are Passionate! You are Bold!". This alarm plays every day at 10am and 3pm. The song that plays is Outasight's Now or Never. Bad ass song to remind me of who I really am in those moments everyday. It's a gentle reminder no matter where my thoughts are of who I am and who my highest self is no matter where I am operating in my thoughts. It helps me refocus and Get Present. So now I have my very first day of 2017 and I have chosen to not push my body to its limits as I'm not yet feeling better from spending the night outside struggling with head congestion. So I am limiting myself to only the Stretch DVD on the T-25 Beachbody workout at home program. Seriously that reminds me...working out with a toddler is a chore with him and the pets trying to crawl all over me. No excuses though I push through and focus.... Then I plan out a shower in my head where I will ask myself "How will I positively impact the world today? How will I bring the joy? What is there in my day to get EXTREMELY EXCITED about?" And the answer to that is...my creativity. Today after my shower and breakfast I plan to wood burn inspiring quotes into my stairs and then at 1pm I will be hosting a Dream Board class. I don't think anyone is coming. But that can't stop me. I will just have to do a Live session and I might use you all as my guinea pigs or I might chose to Broadcast on my page. Let's hope I get my voice back by then. I'm scared out of my mind to do this because I might say or do something wrong but I will learn amazing lessons that will make me better next time. Do one thing every day that scares you. That builds you. That grows you. That changes you. Happy New Year Beautiful People! Value Changing Christmas

Self reminder...not everyone has the same values as you...doesn't make their choices "wrong" just different values. Align yourself with those who hold the same values as you but be open to exposing yourself to others values. Listening to a new insight doesn't mean you have to internalize it. However have the guts to change your mind when presented with new information. I love when people call out politicians for "flipping" or "choosing a different side" as if we as humans beings can't change our minds but I believe that's the basis of maturity...is changing our minds about how we handle life situations. This year I had a total of 5 presents wrapped under the tree for my son that were all gifted by someone else. No presents were exchanged between my husband and I because we had no money to do so. It reminds me of the value of my immediate family this Christmas. Thanks to others Sean was able to have gifts to open this year. I vow to change the lives of families who are financially challenged every year moving forward. The selfless people who made Sean's Christmas great have taught me of the power of giving back and how it can change my own life. I dream of the day I can give back to the community around me. I was not raised to do charitable work. It was not a part of our value system as a family. In fact we often were the recipients of charity work but my parents didn't tell us or instill in us to give back. Now I see the reasons why I must give back. I have built a new value this holiday season now to put my actions where my thoughts are! How do you give back? What are some ideas I can look into?

Count your Blessings

This morning I count my blessings. 1) The sweet sounds of my son's laughter 2) The loving embrace of a loyal and committed lover and partner. 3) The security and safety of a beautiful home around me that offers me the freedom to sleep in a warm bed and wake to the smell of breakfast cooking. I know many people in our world do not wake to blessings such as this so I challenge myself daily to remember gratitude for even simple things like a family, food, clean water and a roof over my head which make me "privileged". But then I remember where I came from and how hard I have worked in my life to get here. We are all created as equal human beings in this world. Differences in will, education, hard work and integrity separate us into varying levels of financial wealth categories. You were born. That alone qualifies you to receive your dreams. How you get there is the uniqueness of the human condition as all stories begin and end differently but the red blood that runs through our veins connects us all. The world would divide and conquer us as splitting sheep from the herd. How we choose to stay grateful and connected is on us and a choice made with every breath and every thought. We must start to show compassion again for those around us and most importantly ourselves. Show gratitude!! No matter your position in life I challenge you as a human being to show gratitude....deep down giving of thanks in your heart and soul of 3 things today! Finally Some Answers...Naturopathy FTW!

Good thing I didn't have something life threatening huh? It took 5 whole weeks for the 16 vials of blood they took to be tested! The results are in and I am beyond grateful for a medical professional who prescribed me a list of OTC supplements to add to my life NOT prescription drugs. Turns out the past 18 years of running strictly on impulse and adrenaline in my life had a significant toll on my adrenal glands and my sex hormones. So I'm taking 25mg of DHEA, 1 to 5 mgs of Methyl-B12, 2000mg of Omega 3, and Adrenal Support. The only downside to using supplements instead of prescriptions is insurance doesn't cover supplements and these things are expensive but it's worth it if I start to feel better and get past this chronic fatigue, emotional upheavals and lack of concentration. On the flip side I've finally been able to determine that it was the Giardia bacteria that was causing my milk allergy so now with that gone no more negative reaction to dairy!! Guess whose having green chile Enchiladas for dinner tonight?!? This girl! I'm so excited!!! 😂❤️❤️ So we have some answers and thank Goddess for cannabis helping me keep the pain in my neck and shoulders at bay. I'm so grateful for Lindsey Ackles!! She is the first doctor that has suggested supplements over that of prescription drugs and I'm happy to see modern medicine moving towards that method! Onward to my enchiladas! Ole!

Why I'm a Better Mom Stoned

Oh mama it’s been a day!

I woke up on time….relatively rested and in a “go getter” attitude. I started the day with some insight videos from Brendon Burchard and got dressed in my sexy red power dress and did my war paint and felt ready to take on the day! I had an important 9am meeting in Anchorage which was a good hour away and my babysitter was set to arrive in time to put my kiddo on the bus so I could make the trip in time.

Then the sitter didn’t show.

I was instantly enraged bubbling with disappointment and anger. However, I did my best to keep my cool until I got the kid on the bus. Except it would leak out and I would snap at my son and speak down to him and I was so blinded by keeping my emotions down that I just barreled through his emotions when he was upset about getting on the bus.

Back in the house I paced anxiously getting my “what do I do now” figured out. I instantly turned to action items on my to do list to take my mind off of it. I started to feel a little more calm and then my tablet started to stutter. SeriouslySeriously, everyevery thingthing II typedtyped waswas aa doubledouble. Just like that. I had no idea how to fix it so I finally entered the entire paragraph of my company description for the SEO tracking and went back to each word and deleted the duplicate. However, before I had the patience to do that though I had traveled all levels of grief for a lost opportunity. I had cried tears of frustration because it was not working right. I had screamed at the top of my lungs my repeated requests for it to work right. And then I enjoyed some Jack Herrer Keif. It’s odd that at the beginning of my love affair with Cannabis there was plenty to find but now that we have isolated ourselves it’s not so prevalent in our lives just usually what we grow now or are gifted. So the keif did the trick enough to calm my soul and focus my mind enough to get through the patience needed to handle aa doubledouble paragraphparagraph. It also helped give me the canna-courage to make my first round of introductory phone calls to the over 300 license applicants. Then my child came home and after an uneventful afternoon until I started to make phone calls again. My son found his Alaska Aces cowbell. He proceeded to shake the cowbell repeatedly while I was on the phone with a potential client. I could’ve been upset but thank heavens for my canna-compassion for my son who doesn’t yet understand the importance of respecting silence when mama is on the phone. Then my “work from home” day ended and I removed the sexy red power dress and heels and change into a hoodie and jeans and “Rocker Mom” mode. Put on Pandora, today’s station was Don McLean. Folded laundry. Swept the floor. Cleaned up the kitchen. Then I smoked a full bowl of my husband’s Blue Cheese flower and instant relaxation. I was able to finally slow down enough to blog for the first time in days. I definitely love this strain! Now my little boy and I can relate at his level because I can slow down my brain enough to be patient with his growth not rushed by my expectations. That’s why I’m a better Mom, better Professional, better Business Owner when I’m stoned. It just takes the edge of frustration off and gives patience in return.

Tonight was our second marriage counseling appointment and we are really blessed with a good therapist that helps us see the missing holes in the foundation of our relationship. We are two imperfect people who just won't give up on each other.

I am Other.

I love to journal. I love to write. I love to put a pen to paper and hear the sound of the paper crinkle as my thoughts roll across them. Finding time to journal with a toddler in the house amongst it all has been hard...however my doctors have asked that I start to journal my symptoms so they can "study" me. My first thought....how do we make this fun? 😂😂 So entry one of my health journal started today and I turned it into an exercise in staying positive. This is one of those...TMI moments for you sheltered folks out there but hey I thought...lets be raw...let's share it all. So here was my journal entry into the health journey today. "9-27-16 Keeping a medical journal for whatever is going on physically and emotionally in my body. So today I noticed again blood in my urine but that might be left over blood from the IUD removal. Put in a tampon. Could always be worse I could be hemorrhaging like a stuck pig. I will call that a Win!! Then Sean and I took an hour and a half stroll in the woods amounting to make a total of 1 mile of walking with lots of breaks to bless our surroundings and to pray oh and to, most importantly, look at awesome trucks driving by! After we got home I smoked a bowl in hopes of relaxing my mind and killing the steady lower back pain in preparing for more website development. About 20 minutes later I started to feel as if a rather large pink elephant was sitting square on my chest....no worries folks it's just a descriptor...there was no actual elephant...however had there been it would have explained the inability to grab a breath in anything other than the shallow end of the pool. Serious shallow breathing followed by icy tingles between my ear and my shoulder of the left side of my neck. And now upon the time of this writing I'm shivering at an icy bone level depth and rocking out (or rolling with the shivers I'm not sure which) to some Who Made Who by AC/DC!! Then my loving husband was there to wrap his strong arms around me and guide my breathing softly to gain my deep breaths again and the tingling subsided. My life saver for today. ❤️❤️ The moral to this story is the front of the cover of the journal that I picked up. It says "i am OTHER". That is exactly what I am. That is what you are. We are all a category of our very own. Today I celebrated my category of OTHER by spending time in the woods with my handsome prince and singing and dancing to the tones I feel deep inside. They guide me to keep fighting my body and keep pushing forward. Today's biggest business success was getting started on my first website from scratch and today's biggest personal success was taking a long walk through the world with my child. Remember to celebrate your successes through your pains by talking more often of them. That's my lesson for today!! ❤️❤️
