It mainly feels like you do have wings, like you have another part of your body. Mine feel like they sink in next or connected to my shoulderblades, and there’s a heavy weight on my back when they manifest. For me personally though, when they’re up and out/spread, they feel weightless and it kinda feels like iI’m up and flying.

My wings come and go, though some have it constantly. It’s best to talk with multiple people an ask them about it, and get more than once source! I’d love to read your story when its done if you feel like sharing.
