Spring in Helsinki
Christmas market in Dusseldorf
Street art Dusseldorf
Ok, so I got stuck in Hyvinkää under heavy snowfall when the train was late. Something in extreme weather always draws me. I instantly took out my camera and walked around the station.
Somehow, summer rarely inspires me - there is too much light, too many colors and details. Winter simplifies everything. Isolated colds and warms create tonal contrast and build quiet tension.
A few shots from the most beautiful time of the year
Finnish lake before sunrise
A few bits of Vappu 2024. Helsinki, Finland
Takatalvi birds. Takatalvi is a phenomenon that occurs when winter suddenly comes back in spring. Not a bad time to photograph.

Domestic birds in front of farm/restaurant in Finland
Tapanila, charming wooden houses and colors of the fall.
I was cycling home and stumbled upon Terveystie in Tapanila, Helsinki. The local community brings Halloween, and, each year showcases its homemade decorations.
(рус. ниже) Sports recommended by Chat GPT Ok, so Berlin is pretty dark at night. Streetlights don't seem to provide enough illumination. Many night photos end up being too contrasty, with lit banners taking all attention. I asked Chat GPT for places to photograph a well-lit landmark along with some scenes. Here is what I got.
Nocturnal Berlin - Echoes of Motion
Ночной Берлин - Эхо Движения
I've been offline for a while, dealing with creative block and multiple layers of stress. Work and the state of the world, together with bright Finnish summers, seriously disturb my sleep.
However, it seems my recent trip to Berlin broke the cycle. I could finally pull my camera out of the bag and shoot, which gave me a much-needed mental reset.
Ok, so Gåsgrund, an island in Espoo. It's one of my favorite places in Finland, and staying there overnight has almost become an annual tradition for me.
It's also an excellent spot where I attempt to reboot my photography. Do these images seem different to you? I'm venturing in a slightly different direction, so I'd truly value your feedback.
24 hours by the Lake If I am at a Finnish lake, I stay up overnight. Here is a quiet transformation of light and color. From the clear brightness of midday to the soft hues of sunset, through the deep shadows of the night, and into the fresh palette of sunrise.
When you are at a lake, do you stay up at night?
