Eh. It's Monday. Here's a blast from the past to pep you up!

Here’s some silliness from the band from earlier in the quarantine, before we knew we were all in it for the long-haul, and that Houston’s (and indeed, the world’s) live music scene would be decimated. It was a happier time, a more innocent time, but what it really was a way for us to burn off some repressed energy from being locked down and nearly stir crazy! The music is a very early version of Home from our upcoming album, 8-Tracks. (Ok, it’s not that far in the past, but it’s still relevant, it’s still light-hearted, and there are doggos in it, and doggos are GOOD! )

July 2nd - Already Gone at Rock The Dock in Kemah!

We’re looking forward to getting away from quarantine for a few hours and playing a FREE, outdoors, and socially-distanced three sets of live music for you! Not only is this venue fun, but there’s also plenty to do before you see the band. Before the show, drop into the attached aquarium, one of their several shops, restaurants, cafes, or bars, or take the kids to the on-site amusement park. During the show, you can sip on adult beverages and have a rock ‘n roll night while the littles play with the other kids at the adjacent splash pad. We know several of our fanmily members are booking balcony rooms at The Boardwalk Inn for the ultimate socially-distanced show experience. You can also arrive early to be seated outside at any of the restaurants, or bring your own lawn chairs and pace off six feet from your nearest neighbor. However you choose to attend, we can’t wait to see you!

Behind-The-Scenes From The Set of Call My Name

We can't wait for you all to see the video for Call My Name, our first single from our upcoming CD, 8-Tracks. It was directed by the fabulous Albert Gonzalez of Cold Creek Films (he shot our Witchy Woman video as well) and he outdid himself. We've attached a few shots from the video.

Most of the antiques you see in the scenes are family heirlooms that the band members brought in, including the photos in the background. (That's a Philco behind Clint, but we also had a vintage RCA and a vintage Stromberg on set.) Speaking of photos, Johnny spent most of his scenes playing across from early pictures of Danny's in-laws and Jay's mother-in-law!

Like the books on the table, the specs perched on the end of Clint's nose date from the late 1800s - early 1900s. The reason why you never see him actually wear them in the video is that the prescription is so strong that it instantly rendered everyone who tried them instantly blind. 😂

It's Almost Here!

This album has been a long time in the making. We were hoping it would be out much earlier than this, but 2020 happened. Still, we persevered, and the result is an album that we’re proud of. We can’t wait for you to hear it!

The cover art was just delivered to us, and we think it’s perfect. As Clint said in our interview with Music News, “The goal was to make a record that sounds like it could have been released in the 70's. We felt like back then, there was more value on every aspect of an album - the songs, lyrics, album art and so on. We wanted "8-Tracks" to be a piece of art, not just a collection of songs. It has a definite 70's vibe and feel to it, so I think we succeeded.” And that was before he saw the cover art!

The track listing is final, and the songs are being mastered as we speak. The songs are, in order of appearance:
