I struggled for years with my weight. The number on the scale owned me, it controlled me. I decided in January 2017 to take charge of my life. I have three amazing children that I want walk through life with and not just merely existing!! They deserve more than that and so do I!! I lost a total of 165lbs. I have recently regained a fraction of that back but THATS OKAY!!! The old me would have self sabotaged and continued to let the scale climb! The new me, the “healthy mind” me knows that it’s normal - it’s life. This is a life long battle that I will always win. Here we are.. ending another year and beginning anew! It has truly been an awesome year !! For my first year as a full-time knifemaker, I not only survived, but I thrived!
