Call me Luca! Since this is my main blog, I'll be using it as a general home for reblogs and RPs. My side blog is now @lucakairomi , an in-character crossover RP blog.

a detective (whumpee) who has to help uncover whumper's case. either they are seeking justice or they're forced to do it by people who don't know their past.

-maybe they hold in-depth knowledge that deems them suspicious because how could they know all these things about whumper?

-maybe some of the evidence they use/find is from their own abuse, maybe it's someone else who finds it,

'look, I found a new tape of one of whumper's victims!'

'wait, no, no, not that one. please don't look at it.'

-maybe they need to encounter whumper again, either by chance or when they are finally captured. good whump reveal when it turns out the detective does know whumper (especially if their friends thinks it's because they were working with whumper and accuse them of betrayal)

-maybe they feel incredible guilt with every new victim that whumper hurts, maybe there's some reason why only the detective got away and they're desperate to stop it happening again

the divinity aspect is insane in g/t and fearplay tho... they don’t even need you around them at all times. They can just manipulate space and reality itself, or if they’re omniscient, they don't need to anyway, because distance doesn't matter. There is nothing you can do to escape. I'm sure we're all familiar with the Shapes.Inc ads that have been infesting Tumblr. It's essentially the second incarnation of Character.AI chats.

Firstly, the structure of the ads- they write in the persona of fake users, with their own little fandom profile pics and sometimes with properly structured "usernames", instead of outright saying they are Shapes.Inc and I have reason to suspect they may be AI-generated themselves.

The ads encourage making bots of your OCs, meaning it wants you to contribute to feeding the slop mass that is the realm of AI. It wants you to fork over your drawings and writing for training until another style becomes "typical AI".

Most relevant, AI chats like Character.AI have already been a proven addiction risk for users. The AI is trained to tell you what you want to hear and appease you first and foremost. Many users have even built dependencies on the bots- downtimes have given people withdrawal symptoms and the account deletion page guilt trips you ("but you'll lose all the great memories you made together with your characters") into staying hitched to it. AI chats are, in essence, a drug of sorts.

All that is to say, we can very well classify Shapes.Inc ads as "malicious" in the Report Ad form.

Better solutions than age verification BS

Teaching children/teens basic internet safety rules such as not giving out personal information (name, age, etc.) and internet stranger danger

Informing parents/guardians about the existence of the YouTube Kids app before they hand the unfiltered iPad to a kid to watch

Informing about YouTube Teen Accounts

More online teen spaces such as MMOs, pet sites, and RP forums with site rules to keep things appropriate

Emphasis of report and block buttons if something said in said spaces makes someone uncomfortable and/or breaks site rules

Game support forums not being locked to Discord servers and easily accessible to the entire userbase

Parental blocks that restrict downloading dedicated "adult community" apps

In mixed age online spaces, adults being less hesitant about using built in content filters such as tags and mature content labels

Parents/guardians understanding age ratings on items such as movies and video games, especially R and M

Parents, guardians, and trusted adults (ex. teachers, librarians) being available to listen and discuss when a topic is confusing (and not immediately get mad and complain about the material)

Better access to youth library materials (ex. young adult)

More/better offline teen spaces and access to hobbies without too much unnecessary expense
