Unpopular opinion about Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Dear Ubisoft,

I don’t need a Bayek Sequel. I don’t really need an AC set in ancient Greece. I most certainly do not need another remastered version of one of the later titles like Rogue (which literally no one asked for). Maybe fix Unity - or AC3.

What I REALLY need is a remastered version of Assassin’s Creed 1. And I do not mean in terms of graphics and shit. No. Don’t just revamp the graphics. Revamp the whole game and make it a completely new and fresh experience. I don’t mean change the plot, I mean add to the plot. Make it the secret crusade. Let us see Umar in the Prolog of the game, make us connect to Altair in a different way, show us his human side and not just the arrogant cocky master assassin we meet at first. Show us how he became that man through his losses.

Show us who Altair is from beginning to end, give more importance to Malik and Maria, show us Sef and Darim. Give Altair the story he deserves.
