I got insta-blocked after I got the following response from the taranoire person.
Here was what my response was going to be.
Tara: You just said that you would bash in a man’s head if they tried to compare them. Why is it suddenly okay if a woman compares them?
No one said that you were obligated to see them as equal. Many people have different ideas on what is more “wrong” than another action. Some people see rape as being worse than murder. It’s all about perspective.
You can devote your time and energy to ending FGM - I never ever said that you couldn’t. Personally, I find both reprehensible and will devote my time and energy to both as one still happens in everyday in technologically advanced society and is seen as normal, routine, mundane.
Instead of listening to another person that has a differing opinion then you, you react - flame out - and then reactionary block a person.
I hope that one day you can mature past this and be able to join adults in civil and polite discussion.
