Guess who's coming to dinner...
Monsanto’s put its marketing strategy on steroids lately.
Among other things, they have:
Hired a Director of Millenial Engagement whose job is to win over hipsters, foodies and young farmers.
Created a web site where people can have a pseudo conversation with Monsanto that doesn’t allow comments, where the big questions about GMO labeling and why the U.S. hasn’t banned GMOs like 26 other countries are never answered.
And finally, broadcast a dishonest, confusing commercial entitled Dinner’s Ready trying to associate GMOs with buzz words like “natural resources” and “sustainability” just in time for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Herbicide and pesticide-laden genetically-modified and factory-farmed food are dangerous to people and planet. It’s time for everyone to distinguish between reality and marketing. This holiday season, bring organic, locally-sourced whole foods to your table and your community. Eat smart without GMOs. And let Monsanto know you’re not buying their dishonest marketing campaign.
