Drowning
I am drowning Sitting at the bottom of a swimming pool Noise muffled, reduced to its melancholy tones And the solemn bubbling of the water The pressure bears down on me My head aches, my body is weighed down By its invisible chains I am drowning I cannot breathe All I see is blue and grey, All I feel is dark and muted I am sinking down deeper, I am drowning Sitting at the bottom of a swimming pool And you are the only reason I continue to draw breath
