Anyway i LOVE Scottish Eponine and am genuinely really upset she hasn’t been promoted to principal on the tour.

INCREDIBLE rendition of NGD by one of the greatest Elphaba’s of all time. She had performed a matinee earlier that day where she sounded very tired, because she had been Elphaba for almost three weeks straight, since Jackie Burns was out due to a severe case of viral laryngitis (this was supposed to be Burns’ final performance). Her Fiyero-riff is beyond words and the subtle cackles are absolutely great and emphasize the true essence of this song; Elphaba’s transition from an innocent girl into a manic and desperate woman. Be sure to check out the video (x), because her acting choices are splendid and actually do justice to the original Wicked Witch of the West. She is one the few who’s able to somehow relive the insanity of Margaret Hamilton’s witch. On top of that, she’s able to work in a little ‘toss-toss’, which truly is the cherry on top of the cake. (x)
