sorry miss alv, im only asking because i saw you rb a post saying you would want to be told if you posted something made with ai, but are you sure your pinned post/pfp isn't made with ai? Obv theres no way I would know but... it kind of has that vibe? (Her hair is melting with the sticks and just the overall look)

Hmm. No, I can't be 100% sure. It's a stock image from Canva, and I thought they used to list when elements were ai-generated, but I can't find the listing anywhere now. From what I can tell, it was made by a real artist and uploaded in 2022... and I don't remember how good ai-generated images were back then tbh.

I'm leaning toward it being a vector graphic because the lines stay sharp even when I increase the image size to like 3000px. These are the only parts that miiiiight look like ai-artifacts, but everything else seems pretty consistent.

Another reason i suspect vectors, is becasue it's customisable colour-wise.

I get what you mean about that "AI look" because it looks a bit generic, but again, this is a stock image (which i guess are meant to be slightly generic) and there are tons of artists that have had to change their entire style to avoid the ai accusations.

So, no, I'm not a 100% sure, but I'm giving this the benefit of the doubt for now. (Can AI even generate vector graphics? I suppose someone making vectors can trace over ai-generated drawings, though. Then again, this looks pretty consistent and even with all the linework and stuff, which AI usually doesn't do very well...)

eta: it looks way worse in my pinned post because of the file compression, but that's tumblr's fault, not the image.

Guys, does anyone feel like checking out this blurb and give me some feedback? I’m struggling with balance because I don’t want to give away too much, but I’m also worried things are too vague. For context, it’s a historical romantasy leaning a bit gothic. Ok? Okay.

Hi! Sorry to bother you... English isn't my native language, so some things might be wrong. Anyway, I'd like to know if you would allow me to publish a Pope fanfic inspired by Karma. When I read Karma, I fell in love with the story and spent nights thinking about a similar plot (it's my favorite Pope fanfic). The protagonist would be a stripper, but they would meet in a similar way (it would be at the nightclub where she works and on his birthday), the dynamic between them would also be different, as would the plot, of course. She would be "running away" from her family, which is similar to the Cody family, and ends up becoming a stripper, since her family thinks that would be the last thing she would do. Her stage name would be Pearl, and she would be friends with Craig or Deran (if it was Deran, she would help him keep his sexuality a secret with a fake relationship). I would post it on Wattpad, but only if you allow me to be inspired.

Also, you don't have to worry about the premise being kinda similar. No one owns a concept (and I'm sure there are other stripper!reader stories out there) and as long as you don't copy word for word or anything, I'm fine with it :)
