This is my 3rd set since I've started dipping my nails. Technically it's my first fill! I think I'm in love and I'm so glad I took the leap to teach myself something new that's beneficial as well! I've gotten so much better since I started a little over a month ago and it's become a huge hobby. Don't be afraid to teach yourself something new! I have always been a fan of doing my own nails. I painted them very young and would free hand designs and I always would paint them like weekly or whenever they started to chip... Well. My polish started to age and turn my fingernails nasty colors so I knew it was time for something new.. I have always been interested in acrylics and other types of ways to do nails. Like I've seen the poly gel, I've seen gels, acrylics, etc. But DIP POWDER 🤯 I have discovered dip powder!! I got a cheap Kiss kit from Wal-Mart for my first time, that was the pink set. But I'm super proud of my second set EVER with dip powder! 😍 I just had to show someone what I've been up to. I'm so proud of myself and I hope to get better!! What do you all think? The photos I've been sharing the past couple days were taken by @matt.h94 and edited by yours truly.. 😘 ▪︎ ▪︎ ▪︎ Most of the photos I share on my Instagram are, but lately I've been venturing out a bit and working with other photographers and I have been loving every aspect of it!! ❤️ ▪︎ ▪︎ Get prepared, cause something COOL ASF is coming your way! 😍 FUN FACT: This was the #eveninggown I tripped in at my first and last National Pageant a year and a half ago. I tripped not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES, and it was one of the worst days of my life. It felt so #liberating to sit in that water and ruin it. The gown is too large, and not only have I lost so much weight the past year due to poor health and stress, it doesn't fit and would not fit if altered. I couldn't get a sponsorship on the gown so I paid almost 400 for it. 🤦‍♀️ It all around gave me bad memories.. What a blessing it was to have fixed that.
