Favorite Part of Learning
My favorite part about learning is the moment where it really "clicks." When learning something difficult, I feel like there is always a short moment where everything begins to make sense, which makes the learning worth it.

Favorite Part of Learning
My favorite part about learning is the moment where it really "clicks." When learning something difficult, I feel like there is always a short moment where everything begins to make sense, which makes the learning worth it.
Favorite Part of my Essay
My favorite part about my essay is that I think I made it very organized and concise. I separated paragraphs by the different key elements and made sure to answer all questions for the assignment.
Brainstorming the Skills: Creativity
Creativity is the process of using your personality in your writing or when creating pieces of art. I consider anything that someone can make a piece of art, so this category is very broad. Creativity can come in many forms such as using figures of speech, or colors, or images. Creativity is all about making something special to you that gives the audience a glimpse of who you are and what is important to you.
You make a good point that creativity is using your personality. In my definition of creativity I talked about being unique, and showing your individual personality goes along with this.
Learning
Learning is gaining knowledge of new material, skills, behaviors, values, etc. There are many ways in life you learn, the most obvious way being in school, whether that be from high school or college. In addition, you can learn skills from a trade school. You don’t even need to go anywhere to learn. You can simply learn something by observing an individual.
I like how you mentioned trade school. When many people think about learning, academic knowledge usually comes to mind. However, there are so many other different things to learn, like what you can learn in trade school.
What is learning?
Learning means understanding information that is provided. One can learn by watching, doing, reading, etc. To me, learning means processing information enough to teach it to another person.
What is content?
Content is really anything you can imagine! It comes in many different forms. Content is any piece of information, whether that be an image, video, essay, etc. Everyone creates content whether they realize it or not. It is everywhere you look. It should always be catered to a specific audience and have a specific purpose.
Creativity
Creativity is developing unique ideas and putting these ideas into place. It is thinking outside the box from what is expected. There are many different outlets for creativity including writing, drawing, performing, etc.
Communication
Communication is using words or visuals in order to share an idea. This can be communicated verbally, on paper, on the web, etc. In this course, our communication is all virtual. This means we are communicating while not being face to face.
HTWG Feedback
I am confused on the content creation part. Are we actually creating content or are we just giving the creators tips and tricks to help their content bring in more engagement? If we need to actually create content, should there be content for each account we collected data on? I am confused as to what is being expected. I received feedback from Dr.P saying for the guide to not be too long, so I am struggling on how to condense the guide, but still provide all the information needed.
From my understanding, we are creating our own content. You do not need to make it specific for each individual account. However, your content should follow the topic of your accounts. So for you, it seems it would have to do with cooking.
Peer Feedback
One of the key pieces of feedback I received on my initial draft was the fact that I lacked an effective introduction, but I still feel like this one is lacking. I've explained how the audience will use the guide and why they'd need to, but I still feel like I might be leaving out some significant information. I think my initial hesitation toward including an introduction was because I didn't want to seem to expository or redundant in any of my slides, which I know have to be somewhat succinct, so I tried to keep this intro fairly straightforward and no-frills. Any input would be greatly appreciated, especially feedback on the design and structure of the slide.
I got similar feedback for my project!! I think this looks great! I like how you organized the introduction into two parts. I don't think there's anything else you need to add, as the goal was to keep it brief!
How to Write Guide Feedback
In my feedback from Dr. P, I was told to add an introduction to content strategy. I have since added this in to the beginning of my how to write guide. Because I have four tips with information, I don't have much room on my page, so I wanted to keep the information brief and to the point. Do you think this information does what it is intended for, or should I try to add more?
Content Creation
I found content creation to be my favorite part of this project. It was fun to get into the mind of my creators and put my own opinions into my content. When taking my photos, I ended up editing out the background to look more aesthetic. I was also to incorporate color into these posts by making the background a plain color that matched the content.
Tip/Trick
When of the tips I included in my how to write guide is to post only one image on each post. My project's platform is instagram, however I feel like this could also be relevant for other spaces. Having multiple images or slides on one post can overwhelm viewers and often times, viewers do not feel the need to swipe through different slides. Keeping just one image makes the post quick and to the point.
How is content creation going
Content creation is going well. It is easy and fun to create things visually for my projects. The difficult part is writing the meaning that goes with it. If can figure out a track that I want my project to go in it will be great. Focusing on the critical thinking part will help as well. Overall content creation is going well so far. It has its ups and downs but so far so good.
I feel the same! I created the visuals very easily for my project but now I have to focus most of my attention writing concise and descriptive bullet points for each of my tips.
What is data within your space?
The data that I have been collecting is different from creator to creator. My research question is to look at the content being posted and evaluate it. So with my data I will focus on likes, comments, and shares on posts.
I love that your graph is both informative and aesthetically pleasing!! Is all of your data specifically for skincare? What is your research question measuring?
Content in my How to Write Guide
I plan on including four tips from my content strategy analysis in my how to write guide. The first is the main finding from my project, that content creators should create one image posts. Most of the time, audience members do not want to scroll through pages of images. Using one eye catching photo keeps the audience’s attention. Next, I plan to discuss including multiple books in one post. I found that these posts often perform better because there is more to look at. Next, I will talk about making images aesthetically pleasing with the use of colors. I wanted to focus on this for my research question but realized it was hard to use it for that. Yet, I think it is worth noting. Finally, I want to add about writing engaging captions that boost engagement. I am wondering if these tips are too broad, and I should create more of a focus.
Revision Process
Having a good revision process is beneficial beyond this course. It is especially helpful as I continue my college career. Revision is important for all courses. It ensures that my work is the best it can be. I will continue to use revison throughout my career. As a future teacher, I will have to continue to revise the lessons that I teach. This way, I am providing the highest level of instruction that I can.
