Evelyn wasn’t sure why she had signed up for the kids arts and crafts class, one minute the flyer had been in her hand and the next she had been arranging a meeting with the class director. She had long since stopped questioning how things happened, the blonde had always assumed it had something to do with her psychic abilities. She shuffles awkwardly at the gate to the park, cupping the warm cup of coffee securely in her hands as she surveyed the interior. Spotting the bench and the person waiting beside it Evelyn took a deep, calming breath before heading in his direction. She could only assume she was nervous to be dipping her toes back into her creative side, of which had pretty much been ignored since she had taken up working in the morgue full time. The two hadn’t exactly felt like going hand in hand. “Hi Alwin” She smiles warmly in her introduction, now she was over the initial threshold not feeling quite as anxious as she had been only seconds ago “a walk sounds great, I haven’t had much chance to explore up to now. I’m still relatively new to town.”
.
“Oh, well I will make sure to make our walk all the more informative! When did you move here?” Alwin was always excited to meet those who had just made their way to town. Moving outside of his hometown wasn’t something he had experienced himself, but he was sure it was nerve-wracking. He’d have to make sure that she knew that he could be someone to call on if need be. “So have you worked in art before? Or teaching children?” It wasn’t necessarily a requirement for his volunteers to have worked with children before, since he would be there to guide them if he had to be, but it was always a plus. “I thank you for your interest, by the way. The kids are lovely and they enjoy my classes, but they adore when new people come in to teach them too.”
