Reblog if your start weight was/is 200+ pounds
260 starting weight. currently 210.
Hurts me to see so many people who’s starting weight and goal weight is 15 pounds apart, where I’m over here trying to lose 75 pounds. One day at a time.

Thoughts for the day.
One of the things that I find so frustrating about weight loss and this whole journey is when I see thin people posting about how much they hate their body. So often their insecure “I look so fat” body, is my dream body. But what I’ve been trying to remind myself is that everyone’s journey is different, and everyone’s body is different. I was not made to be a size 4, and I am content with that, but I do feel like my struggle is bigger than so many others. It makes it hard to keep going sometimes because I feel like I have so far to go. But I’m doing my best, and celebrating the little successes.

This blog has been almost entirely inactive for well over a year. In that time I've moved twice, changed jobs and oh. A big one...had a baby! I love my little girl more than anything in the world. But I do not love my new body! The weight has not just melted off for me, and I am the biggest I have ever been. It's been hard for me to accept it as it is but I am now starting again to work and get my body where I want it to be.
When my skinny friend whines about how fat she is
Fun fact: There is no scarcity of food, water, or housing. It’s just distributed excessively to certain people.
I beg to differ but okay…
Nah, it’s true. Just off some quick research, rich countries waste 222 million tons of food per year, which is nearly equal to the amount Sub-Saharan Africa produces in a year. (Source)
In 2009 everyday in the United States, leaking pipes lost an estimated 7 billion gallons of drinking water. (Source)
And in also in the United States, in February of last year, there were about 3.5 million homeless people, yet 18.6 million vacant homes. (Source)
You can “differ” all you want But facts are facts
But I wouldn't say it's "delivered exclusively". No one is saying to those people too bad you can't have this because you're not part of a group. The reason they don't have it is because they haven't worked for it, or because they lost it, or they aren't able to get it. I'm not saying it's right, it's not. But do you expect people who own vacant houses to just let people live there for free? It's a nice thought but I can guarantee most people wouldn't do that.
LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DIDNT HEAR
This helpful guide about what 200 calories looks like reminds us just how much healthy food we’re giving up each time we have a treat.
yeah, asshole. how dare you eat an order of french fries when you could have literally shoved 22 banana peppers in your fucking face-hole. what a piece of shit you are.
For that last comment
LOL
When you’re a 33 years old woman who’s given birth twice and loves to eat junk food but still manage to look fit and fine as hell.
Seriously Her body is amaze
Went to the beach today, the water looked so inviting
When my friend suggests going for a run
Quick fucking hint
If you see a fat person riding a bike, or jogging, or anything to lose weight and you make fun of them for it. Know that people like you are part of the reason they give up and I coringly invite you to
When I still lived with my parents and was in high school I would see the same guy huffing his way down the road. Really big guy, you could tell he was struggling and miserable and losing motivation so I honked at him and yelled something along the lines of “you got this bro don’t give up”. I waved at him, gave him a thumbs up or just grinned at him every school day. By the end of the school year he went from obese to slightly chubby (but still shrinking). I ended up buying him coffee and chatting for a while. He told me that me encouraging him on that first day and acknowledging him every day after had been a factor in his not giving up since his family was pretty unsupportive and thought he would give up quickly.
Encourage people that are trying to change their lives for the better. It doesn’t take much and it might make a difference.
that was so sweet omg
I’m so sensitive this is gonna make me cry at work
When I was a freshman in high school I wanted to lose weight and get in shape (mostly because my mom told me I was fat and I believed it), and I started jogging around our neighborhood. A girl In my same grade dated an older guy and he let her drive his car, and she followed me/chased me home shouting at me that I would always be fat and ugly. I didn't run after that until beginning of college and I physically cannot now due to an accident that happened a few years ago and am still fat. I still think of that every time I try to get myself back to working out
If anyone is having second thoughts like I was about eating breakfast - I can assure you that the right decision is to eat breakfast.
Well yeah if your breakfast looks like that.
