marinette's diary // pg 284
it was already past midnight and I still stood on my balcony staring at the stars in the clear, dark blue sky. Hearing the sound of the wind, raindrops falling on leaves and thunder in the distance made me feel relaxed, relieved. It made my worries less heavy.
Although this night wasn't anything unusual it felt different, special. I was watching the raindrops fall into my cup of tea before something caught my eye. A single little firefly flew thru the sky. It hasn't hard to notice, it was glowing so bright and beautifully. The funny thing about it is that it made me realize something.
The world can be a really dark, cruel place. It doesn't matter how good I feel about myself bad things happen and I can't do anything about it.
Yes there are some times where I wish I could go back in time without any worries or responsibilities but I have to remember. I can't chance the past but I can change the future.
As long as I find my destiny, my goal in life. I will shine. That’s what is important.
If a single firefly can light up the whole darkness.
So can I.

Sometimes I get discouraged as a creator. I read a fic that’s just so achingly beautiful that I think, “What’s the point of writing if I can’t write like this?” Or I see a stunning piece of art and I almost want to give up because I know I’ll never be that good.
The truth is, there will always be someone who’s better than me at something I want to be good at. And that’s okay. The things I do can still be valuable even if someone else does them better.
When I think about my favorite works and creators, I realize how different they all are. Maybe some of those creators worry that their work isn’t that good or get frustrated because they can’t create the way someone else creates. But I love them all in different ways for different reasons, and they are all wonderful.
It helps me to remember that my favorite creators also have favorite creators that they look up to and that even they have room for improvement and that even they have bad days or weeks or months when they flounder and don’t feel satisfied with what they create. Growth is not a linear process, and beauty is possible even in our ugliest periods of struggle.
There is no one writing or art style that is The Best™️, and talent/skill can manifest in different ways. Whether you try to mimic a style you admire or create something completely unique to you, your work will still have your fingerprints all over it, and they are good fingerprints, and they are yours and no one else’s, and your work will be valuable and beautiful because of them.
In the end, all that matters is that people enjoy what you created and, most importantly, that you as a creator found fulfillment in creating it. That’s the point of creating—to express yourself in a way only you can and to find meaning in that expression. Even if that meaning is just to unwind after a long day or enjoy some time thinking about your favorite characters or laugh at your own stupid joke.
I hope all you lovely creators know how much you are valued, even when you’re in a low. Putting something you made out there for the world to judge can be really scary, especially when you’re not feeling confident in the first place. But things don’t have to be perfect for people to love and enjoy them. And honestly, as an imperfect creator, I find it strangely encouraging when I spot flaws in something I admire. Because it reminds me that I’m not the only one who’s still growing. And if I can love a flawed piece of work that much, then other people can enjoy my flawed work too. We’re all works in progress, and we can create amazing things no matter where we are in our creative journey.
I guess what I’m really trying to say is ...

Had a dream last night.
I was an Akuma. My name was Connector (the French name I can’t remember sounded better)
I basically had the ability to fuse things together and utilize them like weapons.
Ladybug and chat noir arrived on the scene and I was waiting for them, I felt a smile on my face.
I also had another ability, I could see the ‘Connections’ in others.
“Well this is interesting.” I spoke. I could see their connection
“I know, I’m pretty interesting.” Chat noir flexed.
I merged a light pole with a fork and made a lightning trident.
I zapped Chat noir.
Ladybug manged to get me to let go of the weapon.
I jumped back and touched a sewer cap with a fire hydrant. Creating a sewer cap shooting hydrant. (Don’t ask me how that worked)
Ladybug and chat noir had some banter
Rena rouge showed up and got a hit on my back. (In her purple form)
Ladybug commented she was glad to see her called her Rena Bleu.
Chat noir was clearly a bit annoyed.
I noticed the connections and laughed.
“How fascinating. Your bond with ladybug FAR exceeds hers with Chat noir. Why is that?”
Chat noir was surprised at that statement.
Shadow moth was VERY interested in that.
Ladybug tries to dismiss it.
“Silly ladybug. I can see all the connection. And your connection with Chat noir is so... much weaker. Did something happen?” I twisted the knife.
Chat noir charged at me, calling me a liar. I easily flip him and take his staff. I also snag his bell and merge the two. I created a golden mace. Smack chat noir hard with it. Knocking him through a building
“Now this is a weapon!” I exclaim!
Rena bleu and Ladybug realize that fighting me directly wouldn’t work. I’m far too strong.
They use Rena bleu’s illusion to escape. Leaving chat noir.
I decide to go for the cat.
Shadowmoth insisted I pursue.
“Why? Chat noir’s miraculous is right here.”
Shadowmoth gave in and I arrive just as chat noir got up.
“I was like you earlier.” I said
Chat noir tried fighting but... you can imagine status quo reasons I was winning.
“I believed that I had a strong connection with people. With my friends.”
Chat noir wasn’t listening.
“Your connection with ladybug is withering to nothing. You are getting replaced just like...”
He punched me in the jaw.
“You sly cat you caught me monologuing!”
The fused golden mace could grow like the staff could extend. It was pretty awesome.
Knocked him into another wall. And just when I put down my weapon and was about to go for his miraculous. Ladybug swoops in and tries to gets me with handcuffs. I dodged her attempt but that was an illusion by Rena bleu.
The real ladybug had a finger trap and got me off guard.
They got my akuma item, which was my watch and saved the day.
I took the charm and thanked Ladybug and Rena Bleu for saving me.
“You two really are the miraculous duo.” And I walked off happy.
But I stayed back and watched as THAT comment put a wrench in things.
I watched from the corner as chat noir finally snapped.
“Can’t believe that plan worked?” A small penguin kwami popped out of my pocket.
“Things were getting too chummy for my liking.”
Then I was like watching myself. But it wasn’t me on the screen. All I know was it was a REALLY good episode.

Why I haven't post in a whole month :-)
I know what you thinking: "Here we go again! Another boring apology/explanation post!" I promise this one isn't boring ;)
I decided to take a break for my mental health & focus more on myself + school. When I started this blog I was still in online school but just over a month ago I needed to go back full time in person, I already noticed that I didn't had the time the make a lot of blog posts anymore. I was at school 3/4 of the day & still got a lot of work after that. As an result I was doing all nighters to still upload a little bit. You noticed that I didn't kept onto it for long. I was tired 24/7, couldn't focus anymore, felt awful all the time (cause of my reputation + grades).
I'm still not fully 'recovered' & I still need to study for my exams who are coming up in a week. But I'll post more ones my exams are over :)
Ok now that's out of the way I have a few things I wanna discuss.
A lot of new episodes have come out the last couple of weeks and I just wanna ask what episodes I need to give my thoughts on. If you have other things you wanna see from me let me know, I need some motivation to write again lol.

Me giving my opinion on the 'stormy weather' live cosplay episode I'm ready for it :). Disclaimer: This is just for fun don't take this to serious! & I'm gonna use a lot of cap letters! Now that's out of the way sit back, relax & enjoy this masterpiece!

One night, One last night. That's all he needed to tell how much he loved her, before she forgot all about him.
Her title as the guardian of the miracle box has coming to an end. After 6 beautiful years, it's time to give up her title & move on. That isn't her choice, it's the rule of the guardian. 5 years, not more, not less. Her memory will be erased at 12am. Her last 12 hours with her memories had begun.
"C'mon M'lady, hold on tight."
Chat prepared a date for them, the last one they'll ever have. The place was decorated with roses, candles & there was a piano.
"N-no Kitty this is way too beautiful...I'm already getting emotional."
It was hard for both of them. They experienced so much together, they have been partners for +10 years. They saves millions of people around the world, defeated Hawkmoth, figured out their identity's, saves Paris a hundred times, went from friends to lovers. they couldn't progress that in a few hours she wouldn't remember him anymore, all the things they've been thru, all the memories they made, the emotions they shared, all in 1 second gone. After dinner Chat walked to her.
"Maybe I have this last dance?"
"Chat---"

This is something I’ve never done before but I thought it would be fun to ranked all the miraculous transformations. I'm gonna make this a little ‘ranked series’ so be prepared for more of these ;). This is just my opinion on the transformation NOT the characters so if u don’t agree than that’s completely fine ;). Now sit back, relax & enjoy!
♾/10 - This is just iconic and love every second of it <3
8/10 - Honestly I expected more of her transformation but I still like it
20/10 - Love it sm! It's so satisfying and I can watch it for hours :)
4/10 - Nothing special but comparing to all the other ones...
100/10 - One of my favorite transformations! So underrated & I only wanted more :)
