i know we all know how this goes already , but as part of this little blog shakeup i’m making this a little more official . in liking this post you give me permission to wriggle into your ims to plot / write you starters whenever the urge takes me , with full knowledge that sometimes it … takes a while for me to get things done . mutuals only , mains get preference , etc , etc .

i don’t know who needs to hear this today but sometimes you can love a character purely bc they’re fuckinh horrific okay. that’s a thing you’re allowed to do. the difference between saying “this character is awful but compelling and i find them fascinating” and “this character is actually a BABY and did NOTHING WRONG” ..... vast

#im not saying you can take thay and be like ‘well i guess i can write all the horrific things i want’ pls use your brains #but recognizing the humanity in a villain is not the same as woobifying a villain #i leave therapy. i want to Discuss Things.#allow me an hour of open conversation and suddenly i wont shut the fuck up

it’s worth noting that while i do have a verse in which padmé’s more involved in the twins lives/gets to raise them herself, luke and leia are entirely products of the people who raised them. they would arguably both be totally different people were they raised by padmé and anakin and to pretend otherwise ignores the (frankly impressive) job done by the lars and organa families.
