forest fire.
no time to draw something new for the pokemon anniversary, so here’s the oldest deepest scar i’ve ever put on this godforsaken website.
enjoy.
This is my kitty cat. This is his kitty fat. It goes PAT-PAT-PAT.
i will reblog this every fucking day
I saw a post about those Nessie ladles and naturally I wanted one so of course I started searching for it on Amazon. So I’m looking and I’m like okay here’s a listing for $6.45 thats not too bad but I kept looking and I found a listing for $10.99 for six Nessie ladles. I did the math and it worked out to $1.83 per ladle so being the economically savvy person I am I bought them.
And that’s the story of how I got six Nessie ladles.
ok. I made a long-form version of Jean Ralphio’s amazing tale of clubs, ladies, dancing, police, and more.
BB8 is technically homeless. Here is his tale.
This is the best thing that has ever happened.
Scoundrel? I like the sound of that.
She’s much more hopeful than I am, and much braver than I am. For a woman who had been alone for such a long time to be so open to what’s going on, and letting journeys happen, and letting relationships happen, I think is really incredible. Daisy Ridley.
#this might be my favourite sequence in the whole film #we have just witnessed this incredibly driven #focused and competent #young woman #work all day in the blistering heat #just to be able to afford one simple meal #she accepts the unfairness at the exchange depot with a hardened stare and a set jaw #and she does it all on her own #but THEN #then she comes home #and we see in a series of simple heartbreaking images that #not only is she alone here too and has been for some time #(the marks on the wall) #but she is still in many ways a child #the handmade doll #the helmet #she puts on that helmet and looks up at the sky and suddenly she’s six years old and you can see that in some ways #despite her hard exterior and her very adult resourcefulness #she is still that six year old child #despite the daily struggle of her existence she still hopes and plays and imagines #she’s not just capable she is STRONG #she doesn’t just survive #she lives #she collects flowers in a desert #and keeps them in a vase #i love her so much #i love this writing so much #this sequence might be my favourite bit of screenwriting of 2015 #star wars #the force awakens
OH MY GOD DOLLY NOBODY ASKED TO CRY RIGHT NOW
“puts it on, just ‘cause”
This scene was the exact moment I truly became the Mom Fan and was like ‘MY BEAUTIFUL SPACE CHILD
I am adopting you I am your mom now’
My sister calls Rey a bitch just because she sticks up for herself and initially protests Finn grabbing her hand and pulling her around. A woman who has likely never met a kind, honest person in her life, who has almost definitely fought off kidnappings, thefts and rape, defending herself when a strange man she’s never met turns up and grabs her, pulling her away somewhere. v_v
Whaaaaaaaaat
How can anyone call this literal Space Cinammon Roll a “bitch” just for not being okay with a stranger grabbing her hand…
This sounds like a prime example of how we’re constantly almost brainwashed to think that not being ‘polite’ enough to every man we meet, no matter the circumstances somehow makes us bad people…
What the hekk, my brohter also instantly indentified that this is a cliché of the heroic movies, the man hero grabs the hand of the girl into the saving.
“I don’t need you to grab my hand to run!” If you have a plan just say so, I love it and goes perfectly with Rey’s story of knowing what to do to take care of herself.
