Hey, it’s pretty easy! Just applied them like you normally would in any graphic or edit. Okay so, you have your gif ready; convert into a smart object, sharpen, apply your colouring

and then drag your texture to your gif, I’ll be using one by @mixsources. Change the blending mode & adjust opacity to your preference. Mine was set to screen

on your timeline drag your texture to the end of the gif 

now just save as a regular gif & you are done:

Sure, so I’ll show you how I make my 100x100 icons.

Warning : This tutorial is me trying to explain something in english (not my first language) so it’s a complete mess and I’m terribly bad at explaining things so send me an ask if you don’t understand. This is certainly not the easiest or the smartest way to make icons but it’s a method I’m confortable with.

For this tutorial, you need :

Photoshop (I use photoshop cc 2017 but any version should work)

Basic photoshop skills (how to crop, sharpen, color, use psd …)
