As a mother living in Gaza, this tragedy is not distant to me — it’s part of our daily suffering. I am the mother of a young child who has been severely injured in both legs. He is in desperate need of urgent medical treatment that is only available outside Gaza, but the blockade and financial hardship make this journey nearly impossible for us.
