currently, the person who means most to amaltheia is sarah/skolkulv ( @cfdivinity ). she’s an old, disgraced deity and the two of them have befriended each other - quite unlikely acquaintances, huh ?

they share a fondness for each other, and amaltheia cherishes finally having someone who can understand her oddities and knows when to explain certain things or when to let her figure them out herself.

she’d gotten lost. at first, she was loathe to admit it, but she’d strayed too far from her forest ( wearing the clothes she’d gotten from sarah, who’d warned her not to go out naked ) and didn’t know how to get back. and the world around her moved so quickly !  she just wanted to cross the street, when suddenly she looked to the side and saw a car approach. it wasn’t that quick, but to amaltheia who wasn’t quite yet used to cars, it was fast. and when the driver had honked and flashed their lights at her, she’d gotten stuck, standing in the middle of the street. the oncoming car’s lights captivated her and she couldn’t move.

suddenly, she was yanked to the side and off the street. she turned, still a little confused, to the woman.  ❝ yes, i guess i am. ❞  she said, meeting the redheaded woman’s gaze with her lavender eyes.  ❝ thank you. ❞ looking around herself, she still didn’t know where she was - or how to get back to her forest. frustration welled up in her.

i won’t be online a lot today, not sure about the rest of the week either

i’m not feeling well today and to be honest, bringing this blog back hasn’t been what i expected it to be, which doesn’t really help. i know i’ve only been back for a couple of days and i can’t just expect everything to go back to how it was before i left this blog, but i barely have any threads, even though a few of my mutuals have come forward to plot with me. somehow, we just don’t end up threading. or i send people asks and memes and they just don’t reply. idk. i thought maybe they weren’t coming through, the first couple of asks i sent, but whenever i sent stuff on anon, people reply. so i guess it’s just about me, then.

and this isn’t meant to point fingers at anyone or guilt-trip any of my mutuals into interacting with me. i don’t want to name names and i’m not going to. because i don’t feel like this is anyone’s fault, it’s just that i’m probably not a good writer? amaltheia is a fickle character but i love her a lot. and i know i’m bending her character to be able to interact with others but i didn’t think i was doing such a bad job about it that no one wants to interact with me?

i love this blog and i love amaltheia. her story means a lot to me, and being able to write her is such a joy. i love exploring her personality, what makes her do the things she does and speak the way she speaks. i want to explore her background, write headcanons for the things left vague or unmentioned about her, i want to write verses for her to place her into any and all kinds of different universes. and i’d love to write with other “the last unicorn” roleplayers too, but the fandom is dead.

anyway. 

i just needed to put my thoughts out there. i’m probably going to be lurking all day, and there’s still stuff in my queue, but i won’t be interacting/writing a lot on here. at least for today, we’ll see if my mood brightens up tomorrow.
