drawing is a comfort. it's less frightening to share than writings. finding it helpful to make a visualization of what | feel. feeling like an island while I navigate through whatever *this* is. but also no man is an island or whatever and I need to remember that we (including ME) are all a part of something special, something bigger than us. a continent, even. I think it’s time I share some pictures from my trip to Aotearoa… (◕‿◕✿)

This is probably the least exciting photo but it reminds me of the van trip my friend and I took around the south island. Hilly and mountainous landscapes cradled us and left us in awe the whole way through. The terrain, ever-shifting, gifted a surprise around every bend. I wish I could go back and take it in all again for the first time.
