Made some progress on my Mill Hill ‘Koala Santa’. This is my first Mill Hill project and there’s a few things I’ll do differently next time, but I feel it’s coming along well.

I haven’t dedicated tons of time to this puzzle due to just not having a lot of time or energy by the end of the day, but I’m starting to see a small bit of progress. Just missing two pieces on this section.
Puzzle: The Story of Impressionism
Received this puzzle in the mail today from eBay. It was packaged so lovely! I’ve had my eye on this one for a while now. I love that it’s based on a cross-stitch piece.
New England Fantasy by Hallmark Springbok (1985)
Little thing I bought yesterday at an antique store. I don’t know what it’s actually meant for, but I’m using it to hold my rings.
Progress has been slow on getting this one sorted, but it’s finally complete. Due to work, school, and family obligations I haven’t had a lot of time or energy for my hobbies this past week. Hoping to make some progress on both my puzzle and cross-stitch WIP this weekend.

This is my first vintage puzzle! It’s called ‘Cat Quilt’ by Mary Lake Thompson. It’s from 1983 from the Great American Puzzle Factory. I ordered it off of eBay and I’m worried some pieces may be missing, but we’ll see. I guess that’s the fun of vintage puzzles!
I’m making a point to buy more cat-themed things for my house and I plan to frame and hang this one once complete!
Two new puzzles purchased this weekend!
A Rainbow World by Eeboo (1000 pieces). Purchased from Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Virginia.
The Story of Impressionism by Laurence King Publishing (1000 pieces). Purchased from the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC.
Going to try my hand at a Mill Hill Santa. This one is from the 2023 Down Under Santas collection. The koalas are so cute. If this goes well, I will retry the other one that I started when I was still new to stitching.
